Well, you can always resort to buying the mini burgers from a store.

But if you're wanting to make them yourself, then try purchasing the big hamburger buns (not all are the same size!) and then take one of your drinking glasses that has a diameter of about 2" across and just push the top of the glass onto one of the buns so that it cuts through to make a "mini bun." Depending on how big the bun is, you should be able to get at least 2 "mini buns" out of each bun.

As far as flavored mayo goes, you could do many things to mayo to give it a variety of flavors.

For a spicy mayo, try adding lime juice and chili pepper. Or perhaps adding finely minced jalape?o peppers into the mayo. You could even use a bit of curry.

For a tangy mayo, try adding in a bit of sweet and sour sauce. Or add a bit of sweet BBQ sauce.

For a bold tasting mayo, add in a bit of steak sauce such as A1. Or consider using salsa or horseradish. (In case you don't already know, horseradish is spicy.)

Your question focused on the hamburgers, but since you mentioned miniature burgers and meat loaves, then here are some other mini ideas.

mini quiche
mini pizzas
mini hot dogs/franks
mini egg rolls
mini meatballs
mini tacos
mini/finger sandwiches

For dessert...

mini muffins/cupcakes
mini cheesecakes

Soft rolls for mini burgers. Flavor your own mayo (start with Hellmans unless you make your own). Try a chipotle in the mayo to spice it up and give it a rich, smokey flavor.

3 dozen chicken wings (1st and 2nd wing pieces)
12 fluid ounces louisiana hot sauce
6 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 tablespoons white vinegar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 1/4 teaspoons cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 1/2 tablespoons flour

Bake or deep-fry the wings until they are done.
Mix all the sauce ingredients except flour in a saucepan.
Cook over medium-low heat.
When warm, add flour to thicken sauce; stir frequently.
When sauce is thick, cover bottom of 9 x 13-inch baking dish with sauce.
Mix the rest of the sauce with wings and place in baking dish.
Bake at 300°F for about 20 minutes or until warm.
Serve with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing.
These are great reheated, but be warned that they get hotter each time!

Put one cup of chili sauce and one cup of grape jelly in a crockpot, and add 2 packages of Little Smokies. Cook til hot.
Those are VERY popular!

These roll-ups are great too:
Spread flour tortillas with onion & chive cream chees in a tub. Cover with a layer of very thin sliced hard salami. Roll up, chill, and slice into 1" pieces.

Try these wings:
Marinate wings in half soy sauce & half water for 2 hours, then bake at 400 (still in the sauce) until crispy, about a half hour.

Hope your party is a blast!

1 teaspoon garlic powder
2 eggs
1 cup beer
1/2 quart vegetable oil

Mix flour, salt, pepper, red chili powder, garlic powder, eggs, and beer together in a bowl.
In a deep fryer, or large pot heat oil to 365 degrees F (180 degrees C).

No Bake Pizza Appetizer

1 cup prepared spinach dip
1 (10 ounce) package prepared pizza crust
1 cup chopped broccoli
1 cup cooked and cubed chicken

Dog Food Dip

2 pounds lean ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 pound processed cheese food, cubed
1 (12 ounce) jar sliced jalapeno peppers, drained

Place lean ground beef and onion in a large, deep skillet over medium high heat. Cook until beef is evenly brown and onion is soft. Drain and turn heat to medium low.
Pour in condensed cream of mushroom soup. Mix in processed cheese food and desired amount of jalapeno peppers. Cook and stir until all ingredients are well blended, about 10 minutes.
Transfer the mixture to a medium bowl. Cover and chill in the refrigerator 8 hours, or overnight.
Reheat the mixture in a slow cooker, mixing in about 1 tablespoon of water to thin if necessary, before serving.
