Question:

Whats the greatest party you have ever been to and why?

Answers:
Global Dance Festival. Red Rocks, Colorado July 23, 2005.
Harvest moon out that night. Red Rocks is natural amphitheater, open to sky, just being there with 12000 other dance music fanatics was incredible.
Not like a rock concert, where everyone wants to fight. Everyone wants to dance!

I throw the best parties. Lots of jello shots...a great band...people look forward to it all year. No little kids are allowed.

Oh it would be hard for me to answer this question because we are a big musical family [country] so every party we have can last 2 days easily. many as 70 people attend them and we have them all summer long.We are one big happy family and love people and food of course. Our main party dishes are seafood such as lobster, shrimp, clams, corn boils bar-b-Q's and yes of course liquor, for some punch for the drivers if need to drive.Mostly we tent out bring campers, sleep in cars.we party hearty..

A group of my girlfriends and I had a cooking club and during the summer we started to invite our husbands to come and cook with us. I had the first co-ed one and it was the biggest blast. All of us women already knew eachother and were busy cooking and having margaritas. I knew the guys were similar in tastes but would be somewhat shy of eachother unless they had something to do. So I made up a mango margarita ice cream and set them outside with beer and an ice cream maker to churn. It gave them something to do apart from their women and within 10 minutes they're all talking and churning etc. So it was really a fun evening.

I have thrown some parties that people really rave about afterward and I think there are three things common to them. It's always a pretty relaxed atmosphere--I stick to paper and plastic and we all clean up together. There is a little liquor to loosen the tongue but not too much! I always plan some dorky activity for people to go and participate in that they can use as an excuse to stop their current conversation! It also lets shyier people or people who don't know everybody gently slip into the whole flow of things.

A Casino themed party... tables with poker, blackjack, craps, and even taped Horse racing we could bet on. It was really fun...

New years eve parties cos they are great.

Wedding parties. THE BEST.

new years parties they are the best especially the millennium

My wedding a year and a half ago, all our friends and family in one big marquee, when else is that going to happen....?
Big champagne fountain, chocolate fountain, fantastic food and then a fab swing band partying went on til 3 am....one hell of a hangover the following morning !

A last minute party thrown by friends. Everyone contributed a dish of food and some booze. The weather was good, nobody was tired from doing too much and we all enjoyed it!

Sort of 40 years ago, I think. If you were there, I'm surprised you're still around...

I'm not sure I've ever been to a party that I would consider "GREAT". Some have been fun or funny or a little nuts, but parties aren't my favorite thing, so I can't rate one as "greatest".

Probably a house party when I was about 14. I had fancied this boy for about 9 months but could see it was going nowhere so I started going out with someone else, only for him to go and tell me he liked me. NIGHTMARE. And he was throwing a party that night (his mum was away) and he had this real lush modern house, think his mum was a bit rich. So I went to go into the front room and our friend was standing in the way saying "no you cant go in there you can go in" so I peered around her arm and saw him and my mate snogging on the sofa to which I ran back into the kitchen and picked up a 2l bottle of coke, stormed past teh door into the living room and threw the whole thing over them and the very nice (prob very expensive) sofa and carpet. Then stormed upstairs crying, threw down the toilet seat to sit on - it broke - and it was made of marble. Smashed his bathroom mirror.

A tantrum really livened the party up, and 3 weeks later we started going out with each other - he must love mentalists.

Anyway we didnt last for long and now im 25 and a far cry from all that now.

Halloween party.

Everyone, old and young dressed up Adams Family style etc etc.
The house and food were themed. The booze was coloured red.
I went as a goul with long hair gelled up on one point on my head with long black dress and white face.
It was so funny and memorable and the photos were amazing.

All the trick or treaters ran away scared!

I was lucky enough to be invited to the Milleniun New Year Party at the Waikiki Yacht Club in Honolulu, I dont think there will ever be another party like it, right on the Pacific Ocean, warm gentle breeze and fireworks like i have never seen before.... it was somehow so much better than freezin my bits off in England...

WENT TO A FRIENDS 21ST MUST HAVE BEEN GOOD 3 DAYS BLACKED OUT OF MY LIFE LOL

A friend had just married a Hawaiian man so we all had a pig roast right in the ground the food was soooooooo good some I have never had it before Have never forgotten it.

A crazy dinner. You order the dinner from made-up menus, and don't know what you are ordering...then it arrives in courses as you ordered them. The menus also include your knife, fork, spoon, toothpick, napkins, water, etc....so you don't know what you will get when. The dinner takes most of the evening and is hilarious if you add a crazy theme in decorations, dress etc.

Has to have been my 21st. I don't remember anything beyond midnight but it apparently carried on till 4am

The greatest party was at a friends wedding in Aberdeen. It was great as I got a chance to let my hair down and not worry about frowning parents or transport home. I was always the sensible one... goody shoes so I felt like rebelling a bit.

Stayed at a hotel near the party with a large group of friends so I was safe enough.

Had lots of fun chilling out and getting drunk properly for the first time! Everyone kept buying me Jack Daniels (straight) drinks... at the start it was singles and by the end of the night it was triples????? Argh.

Friends said I must have drunk about 1 and a half or at least 2 bottles of JD. Phew. (Tasted like floor polish!!! ha ha)

Also going to that wedding was the beginning of getting to know my future husband who was also a guest there.

I remember a lesbian (well I suspect she was) kept stroking my face - I do not know what she was saying but she bought me a drink.

Another thing was a bald guy stroking my head (maybe he wanted my hair??) and my serious room mate dragging me away from a pint of lager that some guy was offering me. Haha.

It was hilarious waking up a few hours after the party as we all had to check out the hotel at 10am. I woke up thinking 'wow! Why am I seeing three of him??' looking at my room mate, while as he was being 'cloned'.

He was deaf in one ear after all the drinking and he'd sit there with a blank expression as people talked him in his deaf ear at breakfast. haha.

Never drank as much again after that.... ! haha.

best party was the Millenium. went on till 9.00am next morning, brilliant had a great time plus hogmanay is my birthday so double party enjoyment.
