Do you write RSVP, rsvp, R.S.V.P. or r.s.v.p?!

Question:

Do you write RSVP, rsvp, R.S.V.P. or r.s.v.p?

Answers:
The term R.S.V.P. comes from the French expression "répondez s'il vous pla?t", meaning please respond.

R.S.V.P.

R.S.V.P.

It doesn't really matter. Most people know what it means.

R.S.V.P., God bless****

None of the above I just say are you coming or not ??

RSVP is what we see most commonly used on invitations; so I would think RSVP would be the correct way. RSVP is an abbreviation for the French phrase "Respondez S'il Vous Plait." In English, RSVP stands for "Reply Please!"

I just write RSVP

Both RSVP and R.S.V.P. are correct. As you already know from other answers, RSVP is an abbreviation for a french phrase meaning "return please." Because it's an abbreviation and a common standard nowadays, you want to use all capital letters. However, because the abbreviation doesn't stand for a title but rather a phrase, the periods are optional. Most commonly, the phrase is used without the periods, so that it what I would go with (RSVP). Keep in mind that other abbreviations work the same.

RSVP and R.S.V.P are both acceptable.

Proper way is R.S.V.P. but they should understand what you mean by any of those.

RSVP, R.S.V.P. either way, people already know what that means

How about "repondez sil vous plait"?
