Or this one from all recpies:

-first decide the budget you have to work with
-then you need to make a guest list
-then decide the best location for your party, depending on the size of your guest list and what you can afford see what will work best renting out a room or having it in someones backyard
-then send out the invites
-then you need to decide food and beverages- do you want a full meal or just appetizer type foods, have a variety of beverages available for everyone from kids to adults, and don't forget the cake! do you want a picture cake done of the birthday girl or just a pretty one from the local bakery
-then decorations- depending on location you will need to figure out what decorations will work best and if you are going with a theme to the party!. table centerpieces, streamers, balloon arrangements, hang white Christmas lights for added sparkle indoors or out, candles on tables, gift/cake table, picture board of the birthday girl or a slide show to have on display (try to do one of these- they are great conversation starters for guests looking at them!. we had one for my mom and that was her favorite part showing off all the pics to everyone at her party!)
-any games for the party, maybe some that go with the theme!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

your best bet is to sit down and think about the last party you were at, and make a list of everything!. then take the list with you to the store and stock up!.

party planning is all about organization!!
