"Italian Birthday Party"?!

Question:

"Italian Birthday Party"?

We are planning a 70th birthday party for my father and we've decided to do an Italian theme since he has such fond memories of visiting Italy in his early years. Any ideas for music, decorations, or activities for the party without making it cheesy?

Answers:
The Italian Flag and Italy's colors should be your mainstay. Think about red, green, and white table linens, balloons and so on. See if you can find travel posters of Italy. Find out what your dad's favorite Italian dishes are and either prepare them yourself or see if there is a local Italian restaurant that you can purchase them from. Music definitely should include Dean Martin and Andrea Boccelli. You can check on Amazon.com about other famous Italian artists that you might want to get. The sound track from Moonstruck is also very very nice! Have fun!

get some itailian music cd's. the music is beautiul. and grape vine decor. as for activities follow the italian way and eat lots of pastas and garlics and dance to the music.

If you live anywhere near Delaware, take him to Mrs. Robino's... That's what everone around here does...

If not, I have no clue!

Dean Martin sang some very beautiful Italian songs. For more song suggestions, go to google and do a search on Italian music.

What about the birthday gift?
