Can anyone give me game ideas for adults to play......?!

Question: Can anyone give me game ideas for adults to play!.!.!.!.!.!.!?
My daughters first birthday is in August and it will be mostly adults at the party, I asked a similar question before but what I wanting is games, or some way to entertain these people, the party will most likely be half outside and half inside, I was thinking some "kid" games but can't really think of any that would be suitable for the adults to play because all the kids involved are really too young to play any children's games!. Thanks!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You could give each person a clothes pin to attach to their shirt!. Instruct them not to say a certain buzz word of your choice!. For instance, the number One since it is a first birthday!. Or you could use the word first, or your daughters name!.!.whatever you like!. If anyone catches another person saying that buzz word, they call them on it and get their pin (and any pins they have collected)!. The person who has collected the most pins at the end of the evening wins a bottle of wine (or whatever)!.

I think charades are a blast!. I also like the game "table topics" You print out topics and put them in a bucket!. You take turns drawing them out and each card says stuff like, "If I could invite 5 people to dinner, they would be!.!.!." Or, "My first kiss was ___, when I was ____" They are basically just cards with conversation starters on them!. You can tailor them as you like!. You could even put them randomly under each dinner plate!. After dinner, tell them to look under their plates and take turns discussing their card!.

I like this question!. I hate when you go to a 1 year old's birthday party and it is mostly adults, yet you have to drink Koolaid, activities are tailored to children and everything is child themed (which is totally lost on the kids and totally boring for the adults)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Charades you could make up some topics on cards and you can draw the card out of a hat!. I also like the table talk topic cards you make up cards with questions that each person has to answer (I really like it when_____), (If I could be a _____), you could play this game spin the bottle and then the person has to draw the card out of a hat!. Who am I is also a good game put a name card on each persons back and they have to go around the room asking questions to find out who they are some ideas for name cards (Mickey Mouse, Queen Mother, Prince Charles, Jacki Chan)!. Have fun and enjoy the party!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You could play something like pictionary, or a great game is outburst, the more who play the better!. You can buy it at most toy stores!. Another thing we had recently at a party was a spelling bee!. It was actually pretty fun for adults, too!

Another fun game is to come up with famous people or characters and have everyone get one when they get there, but they can't look at it, only have it attached to their forehead or back!. Then they have to ask people yes/no questions to discover who they are!. This is also a great mingling game, if the people don't know each other all that well!.

Have fun!Www@FoodAQ@Com

We played a game at a picnic a few years ago!. It was supposed to be for the kids, but the adults loved it!. You have teams of two!. Person number 1 stands near a kiddie pool filled with water!. They have a bucket!. Their partner is standing about 8 feet away, also with a bucket!. Then, about 15 feet away from each person #2 in the OTHER direction is a see thru pail- large, each marked at the same level!.

On mark, person #1 dips their bucket into the pool!. They literally toss the water ONLY to person #2, who has to 'catch' whatever they can in their bucket!. When their bucket is full, they run down to the marked pail and deposit what they caught!. Whichever team fills their pail first wins!.

It's messy and wet and sooo much fun!

Or if you want to be simple, something like Electronic Catch Phrase, Charades, Taboo is easy to play with a crowd!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I understand that you are trying to entertain the adults, but I wouldn't pay all that much attention to it!. It's difficult to play a game with a whiny 1 year old on your lap, and irritating when your waiting for that person to play!. Maybe invest in a deck of cards and play go fish, but instead of pairs require quads!. Uno is always good!. We love uno spin in our house!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Apples to Apples is a fun & entertaining game!

Go to a store (Target, Wal Mart, for ex) and check out their board games!. I'd probably pick one that requires alot of "audience" participation!.!.!.to add fun and excitement to the party!. Good luck!Www@FoodAQ@Com
