14 bday hotel party help!!!?
I am planning oon having my 14th birthday party in a hotel w/ a pool and hot tub. First I need to get my mom to go along w/ it and my party is in 2wks!!! Also i need game ideas and what all we should do there. my mom will most likley be in another room (i hope) so we won't have to worry about her all night. Thanks a million for your help!!!!!!

your mom should go aong with it, if she doesn't then there is something wrong about that!
invite all girls. your mom might say no if there are guys too, or worse, she'll insist on staying in the room. and the guys might not be able to come if their parents dont like it. figure out the cost and talk to the hotel people, they might not let you because of noise. you could get adjoining rooms because that will give you a better chance of getting your mom to say yes. play lots of pool games, like chicken and volleyball. bring lots of spa stuff and nailpolish and hair stuff and makeup. just dont prank call people, the hotel staff will get pissed
Set up a plan for checking in. Whether you call her, or she stops by, she will want to check on you every few hours. If you offer her the plan yourself, she'll see your responsible attititude and will agree. The hotel will surely want this, too- they aren't likely to let 15 14yrolds run around unsupervised. BUT, it sounds like a fun idea, if you can pull it off.
As for the party- games in the pool and hot tub are probably not the best idea, the hotel won't let you horse around too much there. They might let you bring floats and balloons, but you'll have to ask first. You can probably have music, so make that your focal point.
Some other ideas:
-Goody bags as beach tote bags with towel, lotion, burned cds of beach music, etc.(or plastic pails)
-food and drinks of a beach theme- make sure you get the umbrellas!
