Sweet Sixteen. :)?!
okay, ive changed my mind about my sweet sixteen!.
it is in late january and i will have it in my backyard!. i have a HUGE backyard and a deck!. i wanna set up a table for food on the deck and a table for presents!. it will not be formal!. everyone will wear blue jeans and either a black or white top!. my vips and me will wear pink!.
i need help with a theme!? what theme would i do with this!? and what kind of decorations should i have!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

I have to agree with the previous poster about not telling people what to wear!. I really wouldn't do that!. Let people be comfortable at your party and wear what they wish!. BUT you can tell them NOT to wear pink so that you and those close to you can still wear pink and be the only ones wearing pink!.
For decorations, I would go with balloons and streamers in the colors that you chose!.
For a theme you can always do a monochromatic theme!. Being you and your close friends are wearing pink you can do your theme in pink and decorate in shades and tones of pink!. From light to dark tones and everything in between!. You can do this with the balloons, streamers, napkins, tablecloths, etc!.
You can do your favorites and have everything there as your favorites from music, to food, etc
You can do your astrological sign, and decorate in that and the colors that are associated with that sign!.
Other themes you can do that go along with your plans:
Favorite characters either cartoon, actors/actresses
Sweet Treats, set up sweets, an ice cream bar, etc!. There's SO much you can do with this theme! If you decide to go with this theme and need help with decorations give me a shout and I will help you!!

We just did a Sweet 16 for my friends daughter!.
We did a "SWEET" theme!.!.!.since it is your Sweet 16!. We made a huge Candy Bar!.!.!.!.!.like a bar full of buckets of candy and all kinds of stuff!. One the tables we filled sand buckets with huge lolly pops, etc!.!.!.
Rented a Machine and made Frozen "Virigin" Daquiris!. You could also do a Capachino Bar with Iced Coffee Drinks as an alternative since it's in January and outside!?
The color theme we did was all NEON colors!. you can start collecting that stuff now!. We also handed out glow in the dark necklaces and bracelets!.
Had a DJ with a disco ball, strobe lights, etc!.!.!.
Served Pizza mid way through the party!.
In my opinion, it's kind of a pain to tell people what to wear, so I would advise against it!.
You can even make candy bars with your name and sweet 16 as the wrapper - you have plenty of time to get all of this together which also helps with the cost!.

you could do a winter wonderland theme!. Or, instead of people bringing gifts to the party, you could have them make a donation in your honor to your favorite local charity!. Another possibility would be a country theme since people will be in jeans!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I think you should do an All White Affair!. All the guest should be required to wear white !.!.!. and you Vips will wear Pink & White!.
