I'm having a Swing Dancing themed patio birthday party for my 15th birthday, and i'm wondering how i can portray the swingin' theme besides the music and attire!? any ideas!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Obviously people here don't know what was the era of swing dance!. It was popular in the 40's!.!.not the 50's!. Look at this site in their jazz section/ big band section!. You should find some inspiration there!.

Something light will be good!. You will not want anything too heavy as the dancing will be the primary focus!.

Can you have a family member BBQ for you!? Chicken Kabobs on wooden skewers are easy to make and eat, and not too filling!. You can add mushrooms, zucchini, peppers, cherry tomatoes to make it interesting!.

When you think of swing dancing two thoughts come to mind, the 50's (then you might want to have hamburgers) or the more formal ballroom dancing!. Pick which you want to go with and consider what would taste good for a group of dancers!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
