Does anyone have any decoration ideas?!

Question:

Does anyone have any decoration ideas?

My aunt is having a party in a decent sized hall (50 people or so) for her 10 year old son. She asked me to help her decorate the hall. I was thinking balloons and streamers, but what ELSE can I do? I want to make it look nice.

One thing to consider before putting up too much is Who will help clean it up??? Is there a theme? a favorite character? You can always use colorful table clothes, a pinata (even if you do not fill it) is always festive. the cake in the theme is always. fun. Will there be games and lots of opther kids the age of the birthday child? In my experience with my one kids it is less about the decorations and more about havinf fun with the friends. Play games and do a craft. make sure the kids take a goodie bag home.

silly string is always a favorite of kids that age, also you can make fish centerpieces fairly cheap, I helped a friend do this at a party... we bought large glass vases at the "dollar" store one big bag of fish gravel and the a Betta or similar fish for each table... then a tiny bag of fish food was placed under one dish at the table and the child with the food got to take the fish home.

found some websites with ideas:

for a 10 year old boy
you can hang ladies under ware
for the ceiling
and you can hang puppies from the ceiling also
baseball bat and sports equipment and magazines of naked girls they would like that

Don't over do it otherwise you and your aunt will have to clean up the hall.

Is there a theme? There probably is for a 10 year old.

50 people is a lot for a kid that age. Mostly children? If there is a theme, go to a party web site and get the appropriate decorations.

Pokemon, Yu-Gi-uh! Little boys love that stuff!
