Answers:
You might want to add various types of meatballs too (Swedish, BBQ, Teriyaki, glazed); and perhaps some small roll-up wrap sandwiches!. I think your friend was concerned that alot of men may not find "dainty" appetizers appealing or filling!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I hope you have help or are planning to do a lot of prep!.

When serving appetizers, the reason is to tempt people's appetites, not to overwhelm them with choices and run the risk of them eating too many and not being able to enjoy the meal!.

However, if appetizers are all you are going to serve, then this is a good list!.

My one concern would be temperature!. You have a lot of items on this list that could be hazardous to ones health if they are not maintained properly!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Sounds delicious! That's a lot of appetizers!. Can I join you when you serve them!? :P You might consider substituting one of them for just a regular vegetable tray!. I'd also serve the fruit and cheese on a tray with crackers instead of on kabobs!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

there is a lot of different things here!.!.i dont know if they'd all work together!.!.!. i think a salad and meat/fish thing sounds yumWww@FoodAQ@Com

Wow! It's a lot of appetizers, and I would make some more plain, some of them are more gourmet and your more simple eaters are not going to go for them!. You have 3 that are shrimp, I would do 1 shrimp, 1 chicken, keep the fruit and cheese, everyone will like that!

I would take out the pork, Sicilian artichoke bottoms might be ok, depending how much you have!.

If you serve all this NO ONE is going to eat dinner!. It sounds like you're a wonderful cook and if you overload them with all these appetizers, everyone will be too full to eat!

Whatever your main dish is for dinner, take that OUT of the appetizer, it's too repetitive and people will not want to eat it again if they already had it as an appetizer!. If you serve them pork as an appetizer and then again at dinner, no one is going to want it!.

I would take out the chicken, pork, tacos, and leave one shrimp appetizer!. Keep them light and simple so they have room left for your dinner!

I would do the fruit and cheese kabobs, crab stuffed tomatos, baby clams, marinated shrimp, and sticky chicken wings, that's it!. I wouldn't go for anything else, it's way too much!. If I had to add anything else in maybe the Sicilian artichoke bottoms and the zucchini ribbons OR the avocado crostini, but that's it!!! Otherwise it's too much! No one will eat dinner!

I would also make sure these are bite size portions!. If you make them like they are side dishes, no one will eat your dinner!.

I think it's wonderful that you want to offer so many options, I'm the same way, but your offering way too many and no one will eat!. What you can do is have a cocktail party and offer all these appetizers!. Then you can make all these and offer them up! Everyone would LOVE to have them and at a cocktail party they would be perfect because there is no dinner, just appetizers and cocktails!. You can do a cocktail party another time and then save these for then!.

I hope I didn't come across as harsh, I did NOT want to come out sounding that way, I really didn't!. I am the same way, I want to give me friends and family everything and am known to go overboard too! I would figure out how much time is between dinner and appetizers and then do 3-4 appetizers and make them more light so everyone can enjoy your dinner too!Www@FoodAQ@Com
