I would recommend having a Make Your Own Sandwich Bar if the kids are old enough to make them themselves !.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. just lay out some different breads (white, wheat, rye) and hoogie rolls !.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. then next some condiments like mayo, mustard, peanut butter, jelly, miracle whip, and ranch dressing !.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. next some meat choices like turkey, ham, and chicken !.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. and finally some chedder cheese, swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, and cucumber !.!.!.!.!.!.!.

Now, if you are looking for premade sandwiches, I would recommend making a mixture of sandwiches cut in fun shapes !.!.!.!.!.!.!. peanut butter and jelly, cheese sandwich, ham and cheese, turkey and cheese, and a vegetarian sandwich !.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. if you are looking for hot sandwiches, you can try grilled cheese, sloppy joes, and pizza rolls !.!.!.!.!.!.!. and for dessert, you can make ice cream sandwiches by putting vanilla ice cream between two chocolate chip cookies !.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. = )Www@FoodAQ@Com

PREMADE sandwiches- You can make platters of finger sandwiches in such things as Peanut Butter & Jelly, Ham (or other lunchmeat) and cheese, Tuna salad, pimento cheese, sliced bbq beef, meatball, etc!. The possibilities are endless!. After you assemble the sandwiches, you can either cut them into triangles or use shaped cookie cutters for fun designs!.

MAKE YOUR OWN BUFFET- Many children like to feel "in control" so how about a buffet "assembly line to choose their own sandwiches!. Have each ingredient as a "station"!.!.!. bread (offer wheat, white, ciabatta, hoagie rolls, etc), meat, cheese, veggies, etc!. I have found alot of kids LOVE this type of "menu"!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I have seen a lot of cool kid party sandwiches!. Everyone always likes PB&J cut into fun shapes (even the pickiest eater such as myself!.) I have seen a "worm" sandwich, and all you do with that is, make a hoggie type thing, make it shaped like a worm, bake it, and put food coloring on the bread (green!.) I hope I helped!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Bumpy Road Sandwiches

Have fun with picnic snacks by making sandwiches into cars!.

To make the "bumpy road," combine 1 6-oz!. bag of plain or cheddar cheese-flavored fish-shaped crackers, 1 6-oz!. bag of dried cranberries, 1 7-oz!. bag of snipped dried apricots and 1 cup of peanuts in a medium mixing bowl!. Set aside!.

For the sandwiches, stir together 2/3 cup cheddar and/or Monterey Jack cheese; 1/2 cup coarsely chopped, fully cooked ham; 1 medium carrot, peeled and coarsely chopped; 1 celery stalk, coarsely chopped; 1/3 cup pitted green or ripe olives (optional); and 1 medium dill or sweet pickle, coarsely chopped!. Set mixture aside!. Get 1 8-oz tub of cream cheese with garden vegetables and spread some on one side of each slice of bread!. Sprinkle about 1/3 cup of vegetable mixture on top of the cream cheese!. Top with the other slice of bread, spread side down!. Trim the crusts, if desired!. Slice each sandwich into four strips!. Set aside!.

Finally, for the tasty wheels, wrap 6 six- or seven-inch flour tortillas in paper towels and heat in the microwave for 30 seconds; keep covered!. Get 1 8-oz!. tub of regular or fat-free cream cheese or cream cheese with chives and onions or garden vegetables!. Spread on a tablespoon of the cream cheese over one side of each tortilla!. Top with lettuce, a slice of ham and another tablespoon of cream cheese!. Roll up tightly to form a log!. Using a serrated knife, cut into 1-inch slices!.

To assemble, spread out the bumpy road mix on a clean table lined with a plastic tablecloth, forming a street!. Along the "street," create the cars by taking two of the tasty wheels and setting them upright, then topping each pair with one of the sandwiches!.

It's such a cute presentation and looks like a bunch of cars on a colorful brick road!
