Ideas to attract people to bar?!
School is starting up in a couple months and I am looking for some ideas to attract people to the bar i work at!. I will give you some things we do already so i dont have to hear them over and over:

Lady's Night, where ladies drink Free
Sports night, like Monday night football, do some kind of a special, maybe free wings or something!.
How about Dart night or pool night!?
Welcome Back Night, welcoming them back to school, have a 2 for 1, or some kind of special!. (More details below)
I'm sure you already do things for the holidays, like for Halloween do prizes for the best costume, then on the night before Thanksgiving it's a big party night, you can do another special and then the last night before they return home for the holidays do something like Happy Holidays Bash, with like a beer bash or something like that!.
For the Welcome Back party you can do welcome them back with balloons and banners that say welcome back around the bar, get a wedge and some food, and make the food free and then they pay for the drinks, but have them on special!. You can do some games and make it fun for them!.
Then, once they're settled in and things are back to normal, you can set the bar up as a lounge kind of area and do "beach blast" getaway weekend!. Get some beach balls and hang a hammock and do some beachy things to help them to have fun and relax!. IF you'd rather go a different route, get some loungy ottomans and bean bag chairs and make it a lounge area and call it a relaxing retreat for them!. You can get some of the clear, stringed, Christmas lights and hang them around the bar which will add a REALLY nice effect instead of big lights, they'll be like festive twinkle lights!.
Do different theme nights, for Halloween you do the costume party, for the holidays before they go home do a Happy Holidays party and when they get back you can do a winter wonderland party with some cotton batting in the corners so it looks like snow, just make sure they are NOT where anyone walks so they don't fall!. Hang snowflakes from the ceiling and get some silver and deep blue balloons, etc!.
In between these bigger events you can do things like:
Under the Moon and Stars and set it up with some white paper lanterns and some silver stars and some dark blue balloons around the bar, you're just creating an atomsphere and want them to relax and come in and go wow!
Game Night or Fun and Games - do this with Darts, A Pool table if you have one, trivia, you can even set up a Twister mat! etc!. You can have different areas going at once and hire someone to watch different areas during the night so the winner gets a free mug of beer! That will make it fun for them! For the trivia, make it whoever gets the most right wins the mug of beer!. You can even give out gift cards to the local ice cream places, fast food places, etc!. They gotta eat too!
Karoake Night - Hire or rent a machine for a night, your customers and the students will have a ball with it! You may even get requests to do it once a week! I would at least do it once and see what happens I know here in NY, it's a BIG hit, especially once people start drinking!
You can do Theme Nights, like the Monday Night football night could be about wings and football and watching the game, you can do a country western night and do line dancing, you can do a frozen drink night and do things like pina coladas and daiquiris and make it like a tropical mood and play those kinds of songs on the juke box!
Don't forget things like Valentine's Day with red and white balloons!. You can even have a box up at the bar for people to leave Valentines in for each other!. You can tell them to leave them there and then the customers go through them and see if they have one!. Have one that guys and one that says girls so they know where there's would be and if a guy is too shy or a girl wants to make the first move, they have a way! You can do up the bar!.
