I need help making an invitation for my father's 60th birthday party!!?!

Question:

I need help making an invitation for my father's 60th birthday party!!?

We are having the party at a hall and it is being catered by a restaurant. I want to make the invitation myself, and use pictures from my dad's life (a baby photo, a childhood photo, his college graduation photo, a more recent photo, etc). Any ideas? I know someone who did something like:

Our dad has been:

a baseball coach
a loving son and brother
a Boy Scout leader
etc, etc. and listed the many things they have been throughout their life.

I can't think of anything nice to do like that, with the photos! Any ideas at all???

Thanks!!

the heading should be: The old bastard made it to 60 and he's still alive! And now he can order from the old folks menu at IHOP! YOO HOO!!!

well, what i would do is just put it together on a program like word, with pictures from his life scanned on there, and try to convey a nice message. hope it works out!

if you have photo shop you can make them there. I hope all goes well. Sounds like one great dad. Happy 60th to him.
He's been through a great time in this world. A baby boomer. They are great.

We did this for my Mom....We included pictures from when she was little to the present, we made the cover of the invitation a collage of all those photos. It was a big hit, in fact my Mom was so touched she cried. In the invitation we asked her guests to bring photos of her that they might have. We also took a picture of each guest as they arrived. At the end we put all her cards and photos in a scrap book for her to enjoy. Good Luck!

What if you made the invitations like in post card size instead and maybe on the front have a pic on the back a special message. You could always stamp. But I think the first idea would be faster. Actually on the front you could do like alot of pictures (mini squares) of different scenes.
