We loaded up the kids in 2 cars and went to the mall, split up into 2 teams. Each team had a digital camera and had to do a picture scavenger hunt. Make a list of several things they had to get a pic of. Someone smiling with a gold tooth, the whole team with the same hat on, an old person with one shoe off.....use your imagination. Lots of folks will help if you let them know what you are doing. Just have fun. We had the girls video each other doing kareoke, had a toilet paper mummy wrap, took pics and had a stranger vote which was best.

SIXTEEN IS A SPECIAL BIRTHDAY, YOU SHOULD DO SOMETHING THAT IS GOING TO GIVE YOU SOME LASTING MEMORYS. HAVE A BIG PARTY FANCY DRESS.ENJOY YOURSELF.JUST BECAUSE YOU DONT LIKE DANCING ,I BET YOUR FRIENDS DO.

The 8 people who are invited should give you a clue. How about a costume party? A few weeks in advance come up with 8 characters; male and female. Everyone picks out of a hat and must come to the party as that person. Everyone guesses who is who and the most obvious wins a door prize.

Another idea is a scavanger hunt. Have the party on a weekend day, give everyone a list and split into two groups with two hours to complete the list and get back to the park for the BBQ your mom is making. Make the items things that the local shops may contribute like a red bandana or mardi gras beads or things you can find on the ground like "the most unusual bird feather" having two teams makes it competitive but the group is large enough to be lots of fun. You'll race to the same shop sometimes. Remember to be respectful of other shoppers and store keepers will join in the fun. Happy Birthday!!!

you didn't indicate where you live, let's assume New Mexico (hot air ballooning) say south Texas Barge party on San Antonio river.sky diving , scuba in the Bahamas may be too costly.what ever,do it before you turn 60. make it memorable for you and a few close friends and the person that pays the tab.stay clear of camel rides around Baghdad, that's in Arizona. Have a very happy B/D from camel country Texas

i think the scavenger hunt ideas are great! that would be so fun!!!

afterwards, you could go back to your house and all get ready for the dinner together- DRESS UP- do each others make up and hair - borrow each others outfits. make it fun!! at the dinner party- have something new that no one has tried before- calamari, sushi, a new fun dessert- that way- everyone will remember the first time eating _____ with you on your birthday.

you can also play games like catch phrase- that is a BLAST - gestures

watch a chick flick :)

I have some great ideas for you- it is YOUR birthday after all, so pick something you would like to do!

-Casino/Poker/Bunco Party
-Amazing Race party - scavenger hunt with activities- teams of 2
-Campout party- big bonfire
-Canoeing-Kayaking- Rockclimbing
-Kareoke party
-Themed dinner and a movie- like Titanic Party, Breakfast at Tiffanys, Lord of the Rings, Willy Wonka, etc.
-Favorite City party- London, Paris, Rio, etc.

Have fun!

Wow,

I'm 16 too.Have a sleepover read magazines,give makeovers,talk about girl stuff,gossip,and etc.If you have any questions,email or IM me anytime.

Wat about Sex in the City themed. Two girls on Sweet 16 did this. They had Sweet 16inis(martinis without alcohol). For entertainment have karaoke and a fire works show. For food serve hot wings, steak fries, chips, mini steaks, pigs in a blanket, celery sticks, and mini sandwiches. Serve lil pastries too. Then 4 ur cake u can have a city theme on top of ur cake. Or swerve cupcakes.
