I am having my 14th B-day party, goodie bags?!

Question:

I am having my 14th B-day party, goodie bags?

My party is watching a movie, sleepover, and mall scavenger Hunt. Any ideas? Goodie Bags? Decorations? Anything? Food?

Answers:
1) Goodie Bags
SPA theme:
single use packets of face mask, deep hair conditioner, mini-size hand lotion, nail polish, lip balm (tinted or flavored), mini nail files.

Note: Wet 'n Wild, Jane, NYC, & Rimmel make great bargain priced makeup.

or
FASHION theme:
hair accessories, key chains, charms, fun earrings and rings from Claire's (Can tie in w/ 1960's or 1980's.)

2) Snacks: flavored popcorn, Twizzlers, M&Ms (dark chocolate & the mega sized ones, or you can get them personalized)

3) Decorations can follow theme of movie, spa theme, or 1960's or 1980's theme (lots of '80s music & movies to choose from e.g. Big, Greed, Flashdance, GoGos, etc.).

Entertainment - maybe get a palm reader or tarot card reader

food would be a good

Goodie Bag - A gift certificate to Baskin Robbins.
Decorations - How about luau related decorations.
Food - Hawaiian pizza to go with the luau theme and a tropical fruit salad.
Drink - Hawaiian Punch

small budget: everyone gets a take home bag of homemade cookies, wrapped in cellophane and tied up in pretty inexpensive ribbon, the curly kind.
big budget: fill bags with funky nail polish, two seperators and a travel size bottle of polish remover with a couple of cotton balls. decorations: get silly. you're 14 so it would be hillarious if you did a kiddy theme. for example you could have strawberry shortcake or care bears....let everyone know it's a joke. but they'll get it! as for food on my 14th bday we had a sleep over and we all made individual pizzas. my mother made the italian sausage, a bowl of pepperoni, a bowl of mozzerella and a saucepan filled with tomatoe sauce and other toppings that you and your guest might like. and we each had our own pizza dough (you can either make or buy pre made) and we made our own personalized pizzas. it was alot of fun! and yummy! instead of a cake you can do a chocolate fountain or banana split buffet. HAVE FUN!!

pizza, popcorn, candy, balloons, cake, ice cream, gift certificates, friendship bracelets

Get some plastic tumblers from the dollar store, and some paint pens. Write your friends' names on teh cups, w/ cute stylized writing, flowers, music notes, whatever they like. You can give them out like that, or fill w/ candy and wrap in tulle netting or plastic wrap to make it look fancier.

Sounds fun!
Goodie bags (use shopping bag look):
-Disposable camera for the day
-Jackie O sunglasses and/or Same color boas for everyone to wear all day (like $5 at a the craft store) such as hot pink or bright blue- the movie star look.
-Mini bubble blowers/silly string/slinkies/yoyos
-Candy/mints/gum and water bottles
-Shopaholic books

Food- make your house a "Food Court" with a Salad Bar, a Pizza Hut, and a TCBY

Fashion show as part of the sleepover

Movies-
How to Deal
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Stick it
Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants
A Walk to Remember

Have a great time!

My cousin had a "brat pack" sleepover for her b'day. (Breakfast Club, Sweet 16, Pretty in Pink...) Everything was pink and 80's inspired. My aunt went out and found candy that was popular in the eighties (nerds, fun dip,...) of course pizza (they made their own) They had a moon walk competition and who could learn the thriller dance (taken from the movie 13 going on 30 with Jennifer Garner) In here goodie bags she handed out mood rings, neon pink lipsticks, candy, and $5 gift cards for on-line music.
Hope this helps.
Have fun.

food- pizza, soda, cake, chips and some junk food.
decorations- streamers, ballons
goodie bags- candies,notes
