I need help with a13th birthday party!!? Please help as soon as posable!!?!
Ok i need help with a 13th brithday party!. There is 3 themes to it!. 1!. Hannah Montana/Rock Star theme (i don't want people telling me you shouldn't do a Hannha Montana party!) 2!. A Spa theme 3!. Movie theme (the movie party is a surpirse to the people, not including me, that are spending the night!.Only 4 people, not including me, are spending the night!.) I need help with decortions on the spa and movie party and i need help with the movie party games and what movie(s) should we watch!? What snacks should i serve (for all of the themes)!? It's an all girls party too!. And it's in November (the very last day is my birthday but i am having the party ealier, Like the friday-(no school because of Thanksgiving break!!)-before my birthday!) There's lots you can do! First, take a deep breath! It's going to be OK and you're going to have a great party!!
For the spa party, ask your mom or older sister/cousin/aunt if they will come and do your and your friends' hair, make-up, manicures and pedicures!. If not, pair up and do it for each other!. Tell your friends to bring their favorite polish and flip flops so they don't ruin their pedicures!. Then have lots of snacks and junk food, etc!.
No matter what party you do, you can set up an ice cream bar!. Get chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry ice cream and lots of toppings!. Sprinkles, chocolate syrup, whipped cream, and marachino cherries!. Go to the dollar store and get those tall, plastic sundae glasses and everyone make their own sundaes!. You can even get the bowls that are made out of waffle cones at the grocery store!.
Then, for the movies, do a Hollywood Movie party!. Get some red fabric and lay it at the entrance of your house and on both sides put some solar lights if you have them and your friends will be entering on the red carpet!. Take their pictures as they're coming in!.
Go to the dollar store and get some feathery boas, sunglasses, etc!. Then at the craft store get some blank frames!. You can get the boas at the craft store too!. At the dollar store or Blockbuster, get those cardboard popcorn buckets and some popcorn and big boxes of movie candy!. Rent your favorite movies!.
Hang a white sheet somewhere in your house!. You and your friends can pose with your boas and props and take pictures in front of the sheet!. The sheet will block out any distractions behind you!. Like when the stars stop on the red carpet in front of that white area and take pictures, you and your friends can pose and have fun!.
At movie time, everyone gets their own popcorn bucket and pass around the candy! Tell your friends to bring their blankets and pillows to lounge out during the movie!.
After the movie is the "after" party with the food and cake and ice cream!. Have whatever food you like, whether it's pizza, a taco bar with all the toppings, etc, and cake and ice cream!.
Then you and your friends can decorate those blank frames!. Paint them, and at the craft store in the scrapbooking section they have tons of movie stickers, you can put them on there and then your friends have something to bring home from the party and put their favorite picture in!.
For food, do whatever food is YOUR favorite! Forget the themes, this is your birthday and your party, you should have the food YOU love and that is your favorite! If that's tacos, do a taco bar, if it's pizza, send out for pizza, if it's bbq, do burgers and hot dogs! Whatever it is, have it! That's what your birthday is about, having the people and things around you that make you happy! As for the snacks, it's the same thing, have the chips and candy and treats that make you happy and that are your favorite! You can do the pizza bagel bits and franks and blankets if that's what YOU like, go with what YOU like and that are your favorites!. That's what the fun of the party is about!!
For movies you should watch, that's something you and your friends are going to need to decide!. None of us are going to be there with you, this is YOUR party and your night with your friend, go with a movie you've been wanting to see, or one that you love to watch over and over again!. Talk to the girls that are going to be watching it with you and see what they'd like to watch!. Then make a decision together!
For decorations, you can get ballooons in your favorite color and cluster them in the corners and then get streamers in those colors and have them around the party area too!. Then you can get a tablecloth to match and some paper plates, etc!.
For games, there's LOTS you can do! You can do board games, charades, twister, trivia games, and you can play those what if games and the what would you do games!. You can ask each of your friends to come up with 5 questions and bring them to the party, then either everyone has to answer the questions, or put them in a hat and only those you choose are the ones you answer!. Some examples of questions are:
If you could have a super power for one day, what would it be, and what would you do with it!?
If you could spy on one person for an entire day, hearing and seeing everything they say and do, but they have NO clue you're there, who would you choose and why!?
Would you rather wear the same clothes for a week out, or run up and down your road naked for an hour!?
Would you rather travel to a country where no one speaks English, but they treat you like royalty, or go somewhere where everyone speaks English, but they are very rude to you!?
If you could choose your family's next vacation, where would you want to go and why!?
If you coud possess a talent that you don't already have, what would you want it to be and why!?
If you could have your pet answer one question for you and reply, what would you ask him/her!?
Would you rather go somewhere that hate with those that you love, or somewhere that you love, all alone, by yourself!?
I'm sure you and your friends can come up with MUCH better ones!. Make them fun, silly, and some even serious to learn more about each other!.
There's another game where you stand in a circle and you toss a ball around the circle, it doesn't matter what order you toss it around it, the object of the game is to keep the ball in the air! Anyone who drops the ball is out of the game, the last person standing, wins!
Another game, again, while standing in a circle, keep all hands either behind your backs or at your sides, but you can't use them and you have to pass an orange around the circle using ONLY your chins! The person passing the orange uses ONLY her chin and the person taking the orange uses only her chin to take it, whoever drops the orange is out and the last person standing wins!. This game is hysterical to watch too!
You can also have a pie eating contest, BUT instead of pie fill the tins with whipped cream, whoever finishes first wins!!
Don't forget the pinata! Everyone likes candy and you can get one that fits a theme or just one you like at any party store!. In the same aisle you can find what's called Pinata filler and they are big bags of candy and things to put in there!. You can also add some of your own favorites to it too!.
