Turning 12.

12 year old girls will love a sleep over
keep it to around 4-6 girls
rent a movie or two($8)
have them make their own pizza from scratch(about $6 you probly already got most stuff just hanging around)
pop popcorn at home($2)
sodas or fruit punch($3)
some chips($2)
carrot sticks($1)
fruit salad($3)
and have some precooked cupcakes that they can decorate themselves instead of a cake (have the frosting already made along with marshmallows, candy , sprinkles, food coloring for the frosting and anything else you have around the house to put on them)($7-9)

the next morning they can make their own pancakes and have fruit with it($10)

thats about $42

well...if its a girl a sleepover with a bunch of friends, movies, pizza, cake, dancing, singing, makeovers, hairdo-ing, and wutever else sounds fun.

if its a boy i have no idea. haha.

Buy a DVD that the kids will like to watch but haven't yet. Then, make the party have a movie theme and set a "movie theater" in the living room. Plus popcorn and drinks for everyone.

Make it a pancake party or pikelet party where everyone makes & cooks their own. Just serve with a little fresh fruit like strawberries or bananas & whipped cream. Quite filling & healthy for growing kids.
Pre-packaged snacks are very expensive to buy for hungry growing children, usually high in fat, sugar & calories. And they can disappear very quickly! Maybe you can bake a cake (from a packet is easy) and be creative about decorating, say using soft(ish) items like colourful marshmallows & fruit pieces on toothpicks to create a hedgehog effect.

if its for a girl, i agree sleepover, pizza, sodas, and make it a blockbuster night. for boys pizza party and if he likes a sport make that night surround that, like if he likes the lakers get pizza drinks and watch the game, let them play the sport at the park so thats some ideas and cheap

popcorn and water..............

I say pizza is good - and usually the cheapest way to go - and you can grab some drinks, and movie snacks - make the cake yourself and have a movie party - don't know about the slumber party.....

Have a sleepover(party life or city scene theme)...around 5 or 6 girls.
Have each person bring a dvd-$0.00
Buy 2 large pizzas-~$20.00
Pop Popcorn-Nothing if u already have some. Have ur mom heat up left overs from the night b4(they wont have 2 kno)...Then serve chips and dip-~$10.00

Then have them make their own food. Like cupcakes & cookies. Provide toppings icing, candy, sprinkles-$10.00

Have a Karoake Night & do spas....Neutrogena only costs 5 dollars and get some nail polish.

Tell every girl 2 bring around 5-10 dollars ahead for breakfast in the morning...Depending on where u go if u tell them that, Today's Ur B-Day, they'll probably take half off ur budget on the ticket.

Then hang out at the mall(u don't have 2 have money), also this is a good place where the girls can buy u gifts so they'll kno exactly wat u like then go to the movies later on after the mall(lucky 4 me where I live we can walk 2 the movies 4rm the mall) But taking the bus with ur bf's is soooo fun 2 if ur parents aren't gonna b available.
EITHER WAY even wit the lil 2 dollar fee for the bus fare. ur still under 60 dollars!!!

GOOD LUCK...HOPE U LIKED IT.
