Can tiara dinnerware be used to eat off?!

Question:

Can tiara dinnerware be used to eat off?

my mom gave me a tiara dinnerware set that she had for a very long time on display, she says that they are not to be eaten off becasue that those dishes are meant soley fro decoration, but i was wondering if in fact, they could be used to eat off ? what do you guys think? are they too delicate for any kind of use? i'd appreciate any help with this!! thanks!

I'm the type that's not into that decoration stuff. I feel dishes, towels, pretty Initial soap and other items should be used in their respective jobs. What's the use of those Initial towels in the bathroom when you can't dry your hands off and use them.

it's better not to use them and eat off them cuz they would be harder to clean (not dishwasher safe) and if you break one then the set is ruined
besides they cost way too much than normal plates

I wouldn't waste a decent tiara dinnerware set for display purposes for anything less than twenty-five yard combat stance practice with my Glock 17 eighteen cartridge 9mm.
That's why God let man invent paper plates to eat off of.

I feel you can technically eat out of anything. This dinnerware sounds like a family heirloom. I wouldnt eat out of it but will use it as accent pieces at a dinner party. Maybe to decorate the table or use them as place settings for less fragile pieces of dinnerware.

hey your mom said don't and the bible speaks of obeying your parents. now if you don't have anything to eat off of i suggest your local walmart.

No ..if they are painted the are for decoration only or display. paints carry lead and are not good to eat from
