What would be a great idea for a 14th birthday party?????
I am talking about as far as a themes goes? Can anyone help me? I want to have the best theme ever. What do you guys think of a Marti Gras theme for the downstairs area and a Sleepover theme for the 2nd story?

Marti Gras is a great theme, but I don't know if a 14 year old can appreciate it, and im guessing there wont be many beads getting handed out, plus I don't know many 14 year olds who like gumbo, jumbalia, oysters, or gator.
for my 20th birthday party i went retro and had a ninja turtle theme, i think it would be cool to have a toga theme too.
How about a Island theme and you can find lots of cool suff at the dollar stores now. For the dinner you can do a Luau.
Well it all depends on what the birthday girl likes. Like if she likes horses, have a horse theme. If she likes a certain T.V. person have a theme on that certain person.

I think your idea is reallycool. I never thought of having different themes on different story. I'd stick with your idea!!
Mardi Gras and sleepover? They don't flow together. I think maybe you should stick to one theme. You can always have a sleepover at the end of the evening with your closest friends.
You could try a 90s theme since it's the decade you were born too, but maybe you were too young in the 90s to really enjoy it the way we older folks did.

U can have everyone meet up at the mall really early...around 10 or 11...then split everyone up n 2 teams with equal players...give each a note book with wat they r suppose 2 find and have them have a Pic Hunt...give each team a digital camera...or have someone bring theirs...if they don't have a digital camera they can use the camera on their phone...give them crazy things, like take pics of three people with the same shirt on, a person wearing brown flip flops, or a person with bright red hair...b crazy & wild...the team that wins can get free desert. Come on now ice cream is wat 3 dollars each b generous...Then the rest of the day yall can hang at the mall till bout 3 or 4...then go out 2 eat. Afterwards have everyone go back 2 ur house...4 the rest of the night yall can watch movies, have an American Idol contest, a paper tissue fashion show, or go to the movies n a stretch Hummer...btw...the theme is Glamorous/Hollywood!!! So tell everyone 2 look their best and G.L.A.M.O.R.O.U.S.!!! Here r some cute party decorations:

P.S. On the invitations...make sure u tell everyone 2 R.S.V.P., u wouldn't want a group having one less person than the rest, and tell them to have a carry on containing their personal hygene products, their p.j.s, and some spending money!!! This is so no one has to put all their bags n the car at the mall, so the girls will probably have 2 leave u early n the morning...but this means that u can have the rest of the day 2 splurge all of dem strokes(cash, if that's not wat they call it where ever u live) u gone get on yo bday at da mall!!!

Mardi Gras is cute, but you want to know what will go over better AND will be easier on you?? Find 2-3 beauty school students to come in and do pedicures, manicures, facials or hairdos, take photos (before and after) and give out baskets of beauty products (nail polish, hair gel, facial masks, etc.)
They'll LOVE it!!!
