What besides the basic of milk can you dye green for St. Patty's day?!

Question:

What besides the basic of milk can you dye green for St. Patty's day?

shampoo, lotion, hair aren't choices. It's a tradition that the siblings do in my family. We have kept it pretty simple with just dying the milk, but are trying to step it up a bit. My mom hates it when we dye the milk, and refuses to drink it. Have fun with this one. I'm up for anything that can be fixed or poured out in a day or so. Just trying to keep the tradition alive.

We traditional have a 'green' dinner - not the corned beef.

Meatloaf (I know won't be green)
Mashed Potatoes (green)
White/Milk Gravy (green) - pour over potatoes & meatloaf
Green Beans or Brocolli (any green vegi)
Green Jello w/fruits

The first time I served this, my family just stared at it -- then bust out laughing and had a blast!

Frosting, Coconut, Scrambled eggs, mashed potato's, rice, cake mix, just about anything cookie mixes, Biscuits etc.

Eggs,

Scrambled eggs turn out great. Serve with a dollop of sour cream (dyed with green food coloring of course).

Another fun idea is dying flowers. White carnations work best, but other white flowers also work well. Put green food coloring in the vase with water and re-cut the ends of the stems so they can absorb the color. Do this the night before because it takes several hours. Some types of flowers will just absorb it in the veins (like daffodils) which looks really cool.

Have fun!

if you wanna dye food, just buy green dye, you can dye pancakes waffles or anything, if you want soap you can buy green soap its by dove.

maple syrup, vegetable oil, olive oil, hot beverages (coffee, tea) and of course, beer.

Green jello powder poured into cool whip and add crushed pineapple and mandarin oranges - really good.

Dye the mashed potatoes green.(So Irish)
Dye oatmeal green (so Irish)

I paint my nails with green fingernail polish. Green eye shadow.

Green glitter sprinkled on freshly sprayed hair looks cool.

There is a very nice pepper spray aerosol and pump that has a vivid green dye to mark perp's. The dye won't wash off but usually wears off by end of week. Pepper spray can be used as a condiment if dye-free (I like it with Asian foods), but anybody who gets a shot in the face will rue the day, or write you out of their will. Check the nearest police supply firm but state law may prevent purchase by ordinary citizens.
