Question:

Im having an 18th birthday party and i dont know what food to serve?

the theme is dress up as the job you wished you have and it has to be creative, there will be only girls and i want the food to be interesting any ideas?

Answers:
That is a really kool ideal...I think that if its only gonna be girls then most girls like , Chips and dip, pizza, ice cream, Alot of cake,,,but you might wanna run the food options by the girls.:):):):):):):)!!!!!!

hows this a bowl of rice and 1 shrimp
and the remainder you save send to the poorest countries in the world where every 3 seconds a child dies of hunger
u can show on the place setting how many lives atre saved

beer and nachos.

u should serve Indian food items i.e mughlai.

Well i think chicken wings, samosas, spring rolls, nachos, dips, quiche. are all good party food.

of course being all girls, u might want a bit of salad too, incase.

How about a small buffet with great food like shrimp, roasted crudite with leek deep and a big hunk of your favorite cheese to serve with crackers or a smoked salmon?

Another idea might be a baked potato bar. Bake potatoes [what could be easier?] and have a variety of toppings for people to choose from.

I have a great easy recipe that is guaranteed to be a hit.
Find a baking dish, anything you might make brownies in, any size or shape is fine.
You need-
2 packages cream cheese (the kind that comes in the box is easier to remove and spread around)
1 can of chili, either with beans or without, your choice.
1 can salsa
1 package cheddar cheese- enough to cover the top of your selected pan.
Scoops chips
**Jallipinos can be added to the top if you like an extra kick.

Spread the cream cheese evenly around the bottom of the pan.
Pour the chili on top of that.
Pour the salsa on top of that and cover it all with cheese.
Bake in the oven at 350 for about 15 minutes.
Serve while hot with the chips, your guests will love it.

If you have more time, instead of chili, you can buy ground beef, brown the meat, drain it, and mix it with taco seasoning. I like the taco meat in it the best but I don't always have time to make it that way.

Good luck hope you like it, all my friends do!

you could do finger food like sushi, satay sticks, lamb cutlets, mini soups is shot glasses, calamari, spinach and ricotta parcels

or you could do a couple of big dishes like a buffet, risotto is a goos one or a pasta dish with roast chicken, some chucky salads, homemade pizza, paella, anything that can be prepared earlier so you dont have to do much work on the night.
