One way you can throw a party for celebrities and get them to pay, is throw it in conjunction with some of their favorite charities. For example, Angelina Jolie is a big supporter of Unicef, where Jay-Z heads the Carter Foundation. That way they will be willing to pay top dollar to support their cause.
Second, get yourself a great P.R. person right away! This person will be a phone call or an email away from each of the celebrities' P.R. people who can find out what they like, and how to best throw a function with them involved. Also, they could work with the P.R. people at their favorite charities to help seal the deal.
