I am going to a rescue themed party tonight. Any costume ideas?!

Question:

I am going to a rescue themed party tonight. Any costume ideas?

Basically the theme is anything that has to do with rescueing, so cops, firefighters, super heros, etc. They key is I am kind of short on time and money, so something I can piece up at home would be best.

Answers:
Do you have a stuffed dog like a German shepherd or a Golden retriever? If so, go as a K-9 handler!

You could wear cover-alls or an orange vest over blue jeans and a plain blue or white shirt. Write the word SAR (search and rescue) in large letters on the back of the coveralls or orange safety vest. Wear some hiking boots, and carry "Fido" on his leash.

Instant SAR costume!

Search and rescue K-9 handler for 9 years

Try a classic: Baywacth. Find a red bathing suit and some flip-flops and your done. If your female try to find a blond wig and stuff the front. lol

One used labcoat and you're a doctor. They rescue people too...

Go as a dragon slayer and rescue damsels in distress all you need is a bit of a sword a cloak and a stupid hat

Why not look from the other side and go as a rescuee? That way, you could just wear something ragged, torn, or partially burnt, and a major look of gratitude on your face. If you're in a room full of heroes, the victim could be the most popular person!

body bag and say they got to you too late?

ASPCA (animal rescue)

You're the guy next door that gave mouth to mouth to someone who collapsed on the street or jumped into the water to save a non-swimmer! Make a sign over your cloths that says "Good Samaritan" and have fun!
