Meaningless Pop Culture

1st of all CONGRADULATIONS if this is yours. Umm...im not so sure but maybe like a theme from like the 70s 80s or their favorite time.

Traditionally it is the silver anniversary.

Ok, first congrats on the 25th anniversary.Second, as for a theme, what about music that you and your spouse enjoyed during your courtship and beyond.Do something fun and meaningful to both of you.Enjoy spending the next 25 years celebrating your undying love for each other.

My sisters and I threw a surprise 25th party for my parents. Obviously the surprise was part of the theme, but we also just tied in as many recreations from their wedding and things that they love now as we could. There wasn't really a theme other than trying to gather as many of their good (and long distance) friends as possible to give them time to visit.

We recently had a "game" theme for ours. We had Casino type decorations; many small tables & chairs set up with different games scattered about; filling, yet snacky type food (like you would serve at a superbowl party); background music; our wedding album and cake topper for reminicing; a chapaine toast and more. It worked out for all ages.

I'm a little on the traditional side, I like the silver cake, and silver candlesticks.
Why not do something to remember their wedding day? Sneak and get the albumn, take it somewhere, and pick out some pictures to copy from their wedding.
You could have one printed on the cake, or make a display albumn for the guests, or blow them up, and put them around, on easels, or on poster board.
Are the people doing something for their anniversary? Like a trip? Use that for a theme. For a trip to the Bahamas, a cake that looks like a sea, or a beach, beach drinks and decor, even paint a scene on paper and hang it.

everything white and have a candle light dinner

Wow, 25 years!! That's wonderful =)

I'm thinking since it would have been the 80's to go with an 80's based theme. That's when the courting and engagement was going on right? So much good music came out of that era! I think it would be a lot of fun and bring back all the memories of the first date, first kiss, proposal, wedding, etc.

Whatever you decide, good luck!!

I think and eighties theme would be neat for this. Have the guests dress in 80s attire. play eighties dance music, decorate with bright colors etc.

Or you could do a silver and black theme and have everyone wear these ( instead of a black and white)
