Need ideas for birthday party?!

Question:

Need ideas for birthday party?

I need ideas for gifts & food for a 40th birthday for a girl at work.

Answers:
Can't go wrong with a Gift Card!

Finger foods, party trays from Costco

Decorate her cube w/ black and gold balloons, with a bunch of "over the hill" funny stuff.

a nice gift would be for everyone to buy a bottle of lotion, perfume, scented oils, soaps etc, ...put them in a nice wicker basket with some candies. and some scented candles. a cd that she might like. food ideas are easy to, one person supply cold meat, everyone else bring in any covered dish....and dont forget a cake. have fun, good luck.

pastas. sandwiches(walmart sells really great wraps). fried chicken. dips.

personally i always find bath products an odd gift from someone i don't know well. a gift certificate is easy and she'll appreciate it. for food - get a cake with her name on it, and take out chinese or thai or something fun and yummy. other gifts could be lotto tickets, a favorite book, a subscription to a magazine she would like, tickets to a game or show, a watch, it depends on your budget and the number of people chipping in. a card and some flowers will always work. i like live plants instead of flowers so they last a lot longer.

You could pull a prank joke on her and get her Depends or one of those over the hill candle to put on a cake. and for food you could get one of those cakes with the graveyard on the top.

ask what food she likes and what she wants for her b day

Candles!
Sticky Notes!
Compact Mirror!

Great gift idea:

Have all of her close friends do this:

Give her a charm braclet. Have 40 of her frirends pick out a charm and put it on a braclet. Thisis good because each one will have a story and a meaning to your friend.
