How about "Evening at the Oscars."? Have everyone show up in REALLY fancy formal clothes. Put on elegant makeup. and you can award "Oscars" to like, "Funniest Guy/Girl in the Eighth Grade". You know make it really formal and everything. Thats how we are doing our graduation party and everyone is soooo excited.

find a hall you can a party in or someones home. make your own CDs or have a DJ do the party. just have chips pop and a cake to eat.

We had a slide show with songs. Everyone cried.
