Answers:
All night dance-a-thons...everyone has a lot of fun...throw in some booze and you'll be raking in the dough no joke. I had one in my home town and we made $5000 more than our total goal by half the night. People really get a kick out of dancing all nigth and everyone is always supportive and love pledging money. Just make sure you have an awsome dj and a lot of drinks alcholic and non to quench everyones thirst. Also a dinner buffet helps to it gets everyone re-energized.

Try selling something different that peple love-like little gift baskets. put candy, candles, cookie dough and scarves in there. remember-think good but different.

We're doing a fund-raiser for the American Cancer Society at work and a co-worker is actually going out and asking the local Rent-All place to loan us their dunking-booth for an afternoon. All the bartenders at my restaurant are going to take turns letting the customers throw balls. We're also asking local police to volunteer to sit in the booth to help us raise money. It's amazing the support you get when you just ask around a little.

Host a dine in or carry out by the plate lunch. People love to eat and this is their chance to help with a good cause. I would find out what is most popular and least expensive to serve in your area. I live in the south, people usually host like a chili supper, BBQ, fish fry, or even a bean supper. These are all popular and money making fund raisers where I live.
