How many bottles of sparkling wine do you need for 70 people for a toast?!

Question:

How many bottles of sparkling wine do you need for 70 people for a toast?

Answers:
17-18 bottles !!!!

For a toast only. 10
However, that is being a little on the stingy side. Perhaps up to 12. There are 6-7 glasses of wine per bottle. (Also bear mind though that some people want top ups)

Approx 4 glasses to a bottle. = approx 17. Good health!

You need bread for toast....silly

70 bottles make it good one.

About 17-18, get an extra just in case.

You can get 6 good measures, or 8 small measures per bottle. So, I would buy 10 - 12 bottle depending on how generous you are feeling.

on average you get around 6 glasses to a bottle so you would need 12 bottles but i would have at least 15 to be safe

19

17...but i'd get 20 maybe 22...there will always be a small handfull of people who will go back for some top ups...and if there are some left over....well your next shopping bill will be cheaper as you will already have a few bottles at home!

i'd say you'd get about 3 full glasses or 5 half flutes from a regular size bottle of cava, so go for about 20 and you should be fine :)

4 glasses in an 750ml bottle and a bit of spare so you do the maths

call it 20 for fun

For a simple toast, all you need is one case.

A toast with champagne flutes will use 6 or 7 glasses per bottlle, plan for a couple fizzing over when you pop so get 12 bottles.

6 glasses per bottle, so about 12 bottles, plus one for luck!

just twelve will do have a nice time.

about 12; and dont fill the glasses up all the way

12 liters, so it depends on the bottles you're getting...do the math

20

8 Bottles will give you on cup per person....

You know! they say "toast" and off they are to drink the beverage of their choice....

Know if they're going to toast and then drink wine, you need plenty more: 23 minimum.

an average bottle of wine holds 6 glasses.
so you will need 12

about 14

i did about 1case........

There are 3 and one fourth glasses per bottle. If you have someone pouring it for you, then you can get four servings from one bottle.so,18 bottles.

6 glasses per bottle = 12 bottles.
Ok?

i'd reckon 17 but u might want 2 consider extraz

I would buy about 30 bottles

12. On average you get about 6 classes from a stanard bottle of wine.

12 for the initial toasting, and then another 8 bottles for the usual topping up! It always happens. Have a nice occasion!

rule of thumb is 6 glasses to a bottle, but it is for a toast so they won't be full glasses.
still people will want top ups and so.
12 bottles should be enough but you could allow an extra one just for yourself for after the party
