What's the rule of thumb on hosting an open house party?!

A housewarming party is associated with gifts for the house!. You can do that soon after you move in!. In contrast, an open house is just a "drop by" party!. Gifts aren't expected, though people may bring small hostess gifts!.

Registering for a hosewarming party is controversial!. I agree with the author of website below that it feels a little tacky, but it's a growing trend!. Never include the registry info in your invitation!. Only if people ask!.

There is no rule of thumb on how long you have to wait before hosting a house party!!. Don't assume guests will bring gifts!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.thats just rude!. Enjoy their company, and most people will bring their favorite wine as a welcoming giftWww@FoodAQ@Com
