Answers:
Buy a few loaves of french bread and slice them as you would if you were making a hoagie, then cut each of those in half so it's the right size for a 7 year old.

Use pizza sauce from a jar, and have each child spread it on their "pizza". Then they can add their own toppings, like pepperoni or whatever you think they'd like. Have a big bowl of grated cheese for them to cover it with. Bake until bubbly. This is a fun way for them to make their own pizzas without the frustration of trying to roll out the dough.

For dessert ... Let them create their own sundaes. Buy some vanilla ice cream and a few flavored toppings, like strawberries or chocolate. Get some gummy bears and colored sprinkles, M&M's, and a few other fun toppings ... and of course some whipped cream!

peanut butter and jelly and milk

order pizzas - trust me, less mess and time
chips
cookies
sodas
juice

Pigs in a blanket. Cut up hot dogs and wrap them in Pillsbury crescent rolls cut in half. Have ketchup and mustard for dipping.

pizza dip chip cake drinks

taquitos, pizza rolls, frozen pizzas, frozen potato skins, frozen pretzels, and caramel apples.

pizzas are good. Use pilsbury biscuits for the dough - then they are already little in size. Pigs in blankets is another good one and of course - ice cream sundaes!

Mini pizzas with lots of differest toppings offered is a great idea. Or sub sandwichs with variety of deli meat remember pickles, kids loves those. For sweets I would recommend ice cream sundaes. Crushed cookies, m&m's, whipped creme in a can (you and hubby could enjoy that later), etc.. Or, have made up sugar cookies and let them decorate with different colored icings, sprinkles. That was always a big hit at our parties.

When my daughter was about the same age, we did the english muffin make your own pizza with make your own sundae's for dessert. It was fun for the girls and it kept them busy for a while!

here is a quick and easy recipe for make your own pizzas - will require your help with it.

Can biscuts or english muffins (cut in half)
Jar pizza sauce
Shredded cheese (like pizza blend)
Pepperoni slices

Pre heat oven to 350

with clean hands press the can biscuts out a little to give larger surface
place on a cookie sheet
Spread on Pizza sauce
Add cheese and pepperoni (if desired)
cook about 8 minutes or until biscut is golden and cheese melted.

With the english muffin heat until cheese is melted.
This can also be done in a toaster oven.

Kids love these for they are something they made to eat and are hand size. Even my pickest eatter loves these.

I'd order a pizza, cant go wrong and less work for you. Then have them make their own banana splits or sundaes for desert. You could have all kinds of fun toppings, or you could make smoothies too. What a fun age. Enjoy.

Have them make pita pizzas
For dessert have them each decorate their own cupcakes and then the bday girl can blow them out.

Chips and Dip, or hotdogs and they do their own fixings.
Another thing is just to make any food you want to serve and then have them make their own sundae's.
Give them a whole bunch of toppings they can choose from and 3 flavors of ice-cream (vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry)

I think the pizza idea is great! I did make your own pizza's with my 7 year old boy for his 7th b-day. There were 6 boys and we had so much fun. It was still a bit messy but they had a blast! I think using English muffins or biscuits is good too so they are small enough! The made faces with the toppers so they knew who's was who's! It was alot of fun for me too!

My mom used to throw slumber parties for me and my friends for years. Here are some things she used to do for us:

Pizza Making: She used to give each of us an english muffin. Then there was sauce, cheese, and some veggies and pepperoni for us to build our own. Then she'd slid them in the oven until the cheese melted.

Tacos: Have some hard or soft tacos out, ground beef, cheddar, taco sauce, sour cream and let the kids go to town

The important thing is to let the kids be creative in whatever you choose. That way it's an activity to keep the kids busy, plus you're feeding them!

Well you could definetly make your own pizzas or you could make a little taco station or something like that.
For Dessert I highly recomend dirt cups (chocolate pudding with crushed oreos and gummy worms) or having an ice cream sundae bar.
They will love it!

I made mini foods. popcorn chicken, nacho chips with cheese&meat, mini hotdogs and then I made chocolate "fondue"(choc&fevaporated milk melted) with fruit cut up,pound cake, and pretzels.

The girls LOVED the fondue

also for breakfast, they made their own bags the night before(brown bags decorated) and out in choice of mini bagels, cereal, and yogurt

pizza
soda
cookies
sandwiches
that is all i have

the make your own pizzas idea is great! put out trays of fruit with like marshmallow dip or something because its healthy and sweet. for my first sleepover birthday party, i think i was 7 (and im a girl) and my mom made my cake for me. it was just a plain rectangle and she layed twinkies on it going vertically and covered all of that in icing. to look like a bed with people in it. for heads, she used vanilla wafers and icing to make a face and hair. it was really cute! sorry if i didnt explain it well, but hopefully you get the idea
