Help need ideas fast!!?!

Question:

Help need ideas fast!!?

I posted a question about a red carpet event that I am thinking of trying and got mixed reviews so let me break it down real quick. There would be a red carpet for you to walk on that leads to the party. We would have photographers and journalist to ask questions and take pics for fun. We would have a vip section that would cost a little extra and you and 4 friends get to have your own area with someone to wait on you for all your needs. There would be a raffle and a best dressed award. We would have someone possible sing or do a dance performance. It would cost 10 dollars. Tell me what you think and if you have any ideas that might make the party better or maybe a different theme. I was also thinking toga party!!!

Answers:
ooh, i like red carpet... not many people will ever do it in real life... may as well enjoy it this way. in fact the pictures being taken can actually be giveaways (make em polaroid) or you can charge extra for digital pictures over e-mail, that way you get all the e-mail ID's and thats your database for the next party you want to throw.

$10 per person does not sound like it will cover the needs. Togas for a red carpet affair does not sound like it will mix.

i love you idea about the red carpet party how neat , i think you have it all covered with everything you described it sounds like it is going to be a night to remember . hope you have lots of fun :O}

I love the Red Carpet party idea! Very clever! Toga parties are fun too but are on the other side of the party spectrum!

You should definitely serve "Champagne" [or sparkling grape juice] at the Red Carpet party. You can make an olive tapenade too that resembles caviar that can be put on toast points or Carr's table water crackers.

Sounds to me like a good idea!
But you should serve very expensive goods like champagne and caviar because people will expect this...
If you'd do the toga party, you can go in a Romans direction with lots of fruits, big pieces of meat and lots of wine...
Why not do a belgian party? Give them chocolat, "french fries" and beer...

I like this idea alot. I would definitely have a specialty vip drink... Maybe have a local celebrity d.j or group perfom.
