Is it okay if I only serve cake?!

Question: Is it okay if I only serve cake!?
I'm having a 7th birthday for my daughter at a little place out here that does parties!.

The party will start at 3:30 and end at 5:15!. (Yes, it's only 1 hour and 45 minutes long)!.

Would it be okay if I only serve cake!? Or am I pushing it too close to dinner time and need to serve something else!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
That's fine !.!.!. anything else would ruin their dinner:) !.!.!.!. You might get a cupcake cake from your local grocery bakery!. It's easier to serve, and easier for kids to eat!. They'll do whatever theme you want !.!.!.!.!.!.!.You might consider serving the cake at the beginning of the party, because of the timing:)Www@FoodAQ@Com

no, usually kids eat early and parents might get mad if they have dessert before dinner because it will spoil their appetite, maybe if you order a large hero or pizzas it might be cheaper!. also if kids have lunch at 12-1 pm by the time 4-5pm comes they are going to be starving!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I think that is the good time for snacking foods!. And a party makes it even better time for it!. Chips and Dip would be simple and a great snack during the party!. And still have cake soon after!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

For a party, you should serve more food other than just cake!. Is there a reason why the party is so short in time!? Is it really necessary to even have the party!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

I'd do finger food like chips & dip or crackers & cheese!.!.!. I don't think you need to serve dinner but do serve ice cream with the cake!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Cake and punch would be just fine!. If you have games and activities for the kids, they will be more interested in playing than eating!.
