In your opinion, would a cocktail party "fly" with old people?
for my family only swt16, i rented a patio area in a hotel, with food stations, with little finger sandwiches, fruit cups, drinks, and chips (stuff like that) but there just gonna be standing, and mingling, and socializing. im afraid cuz usually these are the kind of people who are always at buffets and now its like wtf, u know? (theyre all over 40 yrs old)

first of all 40 is not old! You guest will have a great time. Provide good food and you have it made
Absolutely !! Cocktail parties are for all ages and actually I know the older ones who have them alot more than younger people.
