Crazy ideas for a sweet 16?!

Question:

Crazy ideas for a sweet 16?

My little sister is turning 16 next year, and we have always had elaborate parties for our 16th b-days. however, she is the last girl in my family to have one and we really want to go all out. what cool ideas do u think we should have at the reception? i was thinking of those chocolate fountains, with chocolate coming out everywhere and guests could stick strawberries or other stuff in there. but i don't have any more ideas. this party will take place during the summer.and the guest list ranges from children, young adults, to older adults. i would like to have something interesting for everybody.has anyone seen any really new and wild/elaborate things at parties that we could also do (whether it be food, decorations, entertainment, etc)? any ideas would be great. and price is not an option.

Someone posted a question today about whether a "red carpet" party would be considered cool. You'd send out announcements that celebrity (your sister) would be attending and you expect papparazzi to be there photographing the event. You could decide what dress would be appropriate and when people arrived you could actually have a red carpet etc.

Have it as a Hollywood bash. It might be fun and different.
You could even have priority seating in a roped off area like they have in clubs. It opens up a bunch of ideas for you.

Your sister is lucky to have someone like you. Happy Sweet 16th Party

if u want your party to be grown up and kids then go to partyideas.com or sweetsixteen.com
