Signature Drink for my wedding?!

Question:

Signature Drink for my wedding?

I want to have a "signature drink" at my wedding but am not sure what to serve. I don't drink that often. I would like something fruity and not too strong. Any ideas?? Thanks!

Follow this recipe and it will be THE talk among your guests.

Mix in equal proportions:
Gingerale, Orangejuice, pineapple and grape juice - mix small amount of Vanilla flavored or Strawberry flavored ice cream. Stir in some crushed ice.

Try it at home with a small batch first. You can modify it as you like with your favorite ice cream.

Provide vodka or rum on the side for those who want to 'spike' it.

Margaritas are fruity and not terribly strong. If made right, very tasty, and they always have that Mexico/spring break/beachy atmosphere!

Something very good but not played out is Gingina (Gin and orangina orange drink). Very light and crisp! Good luck and gratz!

Guavatinis for life! The recipe is on the website for Houlihans. Soooooooooo good.

Most couples like to have a signature fruit punch. That is where you go and decide what kinds of frozen fruit juice goes into 2 liters of ginger ale with frozen sherbert (DON'T USE RAINBOW) the lime or regular sherberts are the best when making drinks. The rainbow leaves a "brown" like fuzz on the top of the drink & looks gross.

Cosmopolitans

How about Kir Royale? Champagne with a splash of Chambord (or raspberry liquor) garnished with a lemon twist or a fresh raspberry. Elegant and appropriate for a wedding. Congratulations and good luck!

How about a Wedding Cake Martini?

Add in a pitcher:
(works best if ingredients already chilled)

3 cups pineapple juice
4 cups Cran Strawberry juice
2 cups Vanilla Vodka
1/4 cup sugar

Rim glass with sugar and pour chilled cocktail into glass, this is SOOOOOO good. You can add more or less of the vodka for according to how strong you want the drink.

Anytime me and the girls get together, this is our drink of choice!

Happy Wedding!

Bellinis - mixture of peach puree and champagne

Some things to consider: What is your color scheme? Are there any special traditons or stories you have with your future husband? You can incorporate these things into your signiture drink to make it really special. For example, my friend got married over 4th of July weekend and she had red, white, and blue martinis as her signiture drink.

Fuzzy navels are pretty good:

1 oz orange flavored vodka
1 oz peach schnapps
2 oz orange juice

Pour over ice, shake, and serve

Pixie stick

1 oz vodka
1 1/2 oz melon liquor
sprite or 7-up

Shake the two alcohols together over ice, pur into a tall glass with ice and then fill up the glass with 7-UP or Sprite. The drink is a cool bright green color and it's very refreshing.

If you're going for something tropical, try 1 oz Malibu coconut flavored rum mixed with 3 oz of pineapple juice. Sooo good!

champagne & strawberry juice

It is light, bubbly and always a huge hit at my summer parties
