How much soda/beer/wine should I buy?!

Question:

How much soda/beer/wine should I buy?

I am getting married next month and am having trouble figuring out how much of each beverage I need to get. Is there anyway I can figure this out or estimate it?

Answers:
Well, how many guests are you having? And how long is the reception going to be? If you figure that most people will be drinking on average 2 drinks an hour, and say your reception lasts 3 hours, and you have 100 guests...that's like 600 drinks total (of whatever kind).

You should mix it that would work and less confusion

How many people are attending? check out the link below and calculate it for yourself. cheers!

Im not too sure how many people will be at youre wedding, im gonna try and break it down::: but what me and my friend did at her wedding was we had at least 2 bottles of wine on each table, one red one white. . .. then about a 12 pack per table for beer. . .and about a 12 pack of soda per table. .. each table had about 10 people at them. . . and that was actually a perfect number. . . good luck and congrats on youre marriage! but if the families are anything like my own, you'll probably have to double that! lol thats what my family does best, drink and fight. . .. hey were italians!

You neeed seven half barrels of beer and one pig to every hundred people.

Depends where you live and how many people...

Champaign is essential for toasts so about 5-6 people per bottle [get the nice stuff for you and your man and get the "other" stuff for your guest]

I live in Texas so it would be beer over wine but it really depends on the culture you live in and what y'all drink when y'all get together. If you are having bbq, beer. Chicken with green bean etc, wine.

Sodas can always be bought genaric brand for cheap and A LOT of em especially if you are having underaged kids

It also might be fun to have some non-alcoholic beverages for them so they feel like "adults" [aka that fizzy punch stuff]

Congrats!

Have fun and good luck!

Start with offering a standard welcome drink for everyone. e.g. sangria but with a low alcohol content ( 75% fruit punch). This ensures everyone has a glass in their hand and you have more control over your beverage expences. How many adults will be attending? I would be able to give you an exact figure with that. Congratulations.
