50th Anniversary party guest favors?!

Question:

50th Anniversary party guest favors?

What is a good idea for guest favors at a 50th Anniversary party. There will be about 125-150 people at dinner, so it needs to be somewhat budget-minded, too.

Answers:
Chocolate gold foiled coins?

pictures of the couple when they were first married.

a cute bagg filled with hershey "kisses"

Something unique would be a little container (really inexpensive) with a 50 cent piece with a little poem of some sort that reflects the couple.

You could also get little bottles of apple cider and cover them with a silver foil wrapping and put a picture of them on the outside (kind of like a personalized touch).

gourmet cookies wrapped in a bundle and tied up in silver ribbon. or gourmet brownies....you can make these homemade. i think edible goodies are the way to go! and they are so cheap!

well my mom went to www.weddingfavors.com for her parents 50th. we had it on the beach so she got these really tiny buckets put some sand in the bottom and a couple of mini seashells (ones that would fit in them) and wrote John and Velma 50 Years! so either get something that goes with the location of the party , or what do they like to do a lot? if it's singing get cheap microphones and write their name and 50th on it, do something cute but in expensive. good luck.

check your local dollar store or family dollar store they usually have some very nice and inexpensive small gifts like candles or picture frames and lots of little nice nick nacks... go check it out it won't hurt...

Pictures of the couple, flowers, wine, wine glasses, or CUPCAKES!
