What kind of stuff do you like!?
What's your timeframe!?

You could bake a pound cake, then you dont have to frost it!. No dessert takes long if youre using a packaged mix!.

If you do the poundcake, you can actually buy a good one, and make your own simple syrup to go on top!. Syrup, water, maybe some lemons for flavor!.

I found a recipe for the lemon glaze icing:
Mix 1/2 cup sugar and 1/3 cup lemon juice in small saucepan; cook on low heat 5 min!. or until sugar is dissolved, stirring occasionally!. Set aside until ready to use!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Not sure if this is too time consuming, but you can do most of the prep early and it goes down great at barbies!.!.!.!.!.

You need!.!.!.!.!. tin foil!.!.!.!. rough chopped fruit !.!.!. any works but strawberries/banannas/peaches are a good base!.!.!. bit of sugar (or maple syrup) knob of butter (you can do without this is you are v health concious, but is better with)!.!.!. a liquer like cointreau/drambuie or rum or brandy (leave out of the kids ones obviously)

Put the fruit on a 'square' of tin foil, (double thickness is best)
fold up the edges a bit!.!.!.!. sprinlke on the suger (or syrup) whack in a smallish knob of butter, slug of booze (not in all of them remember !), wrap up into a 'purse' (not tight!.!.!. leave plenty of room inside)!.

When you're ready just slap them on the BBQ to warm through and serve with a dollop of cream or ice cream!.

Cooking time is whenever people are ready to eat!.!.!. they can be eaten 'raw' as almost a fruit salad so you can't undercook them and left on the warming rack or over low coals!.!.!.!.they just go to a lovely 'compote' consistency!.

Whatever you do !.!.!. have a great one!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Angel food or pound cake (premade bought from the supermarket)
Sliced Fresh Strawberries
Whipped cream

Place all the elements out and let people help themselves!.

Or you could just serve ice cream!. It would be fun to get several flavors, some ice cream cones, and few toppings like fresh chopped fruit, chocolate syrup, and sprinkles!. This could be set up as an ice cream bar where people help themselves!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Bananas cooked as needed in a syrup in a large wok or frying pan, made up of water, a little butter and sugar flavoured with vanilla!.
