Ahh a fellow YORKSHIREMAN!

Got to be Roast Beef with the obligatory YORKSHIRE PUDDINGS!!

I usually roast a beef arm, chuck or rump roast. I think we prefer arm roast as it is usually the most tender. I will also through in carrots and later potato's. I add some Kitchen Bouquet for flavor & about half an onion. If we have any leftover meat I will make burritoes or roast beef sandwiches the next day.

We have a leg of lamb today on special at sainsburys....yum!!! Lamb is our fave but quite expensive so i am starving myself all day so i can enjoy this later.

I have put it on now ready for 5pm on gas mark 1, tender and falling off the bone!

Roasted duck is the one I like myself. The options to add
include cranberry relish and a real tart type kept in ice crushed until served. The usuals of potatoes can be changed to baked cucumber and also gravy over fettucini noodles. I make a gravy with bits of chicken, turkey, and even
game birds like pheasant to bring on the wild flavor. Also get a duck the size of a turkey. http://www.allrecipes.com

It will be roast beef, yorkshire pudding and roast parsnips.
I had a roast free range chicken in the week. It was so free range it must have been the Beep Beep Bird, blo*dy chewy. So I am looking forward to the beef.

My favourite is Roast Beef, but today we`re having steamed chicken breast coz I didnt have time to go to the butchers this week!
We`ll have the chicken, stuffing, caulflower, cabbage, broccoli, carrots, parsnips and sprouts, roast spuds and mashed spuds and gravy, plus Yorkie puds, which I know are for beef, but I love them and have them on every roast dinner!
Then we`ve got either summer fruit cobbler or apple pie for dessert. YUM!
We`ll have it at about 4, then go to the mother in laws then off to the pub!

Got to have chestnuts and sprouts with my Roasts, Beef or Chicken Rule

Beef, potatoes, sweet potato, carrot and pumpkin. My parents like onions as well... yum! So nice.

YOU MUST BE BORED

Ooh! I love me some English Sunday roast!

Typically I will have roast chicken with pigs in blankets, chipolata sausages and stuffing, bread sauce, cranberry sauce or redcurrant jelly!

Though I do love a roast duck every now and then too!!

beef roast seasoned with garlic, roasted with potatoes, carrots and celery. then have horseradish on side for meat, sour cream for potatoes, and more garlic powder for meat.(love garlic, husband not to fond of it ) usually we roast chuck or arm roasts

roast beef ketchup and lots of it

We are usually pretty tight on our budget, so I always buy a pretty cheap cut of beef. Low and slow, a can of french onion soup. I make mashed potatoes, steamed broccoli or spinach. Salad and crusty, herb bread. Usually not too fancy. I then of course make a gravy, or use the drippings/soup to as an au jus.
