How to give a successful brunch for 25 people and make a profit by doing so?
Answers:
The cost of the food plus two thirds, that's 1/3 cost, 1/3 dunnage, 1/3 profit. The rest is staff and facility
Do what restaurants do: use leftovers from the previous week's meals.
You're going to GIVE a brunch yet strive to make money????
Lots of breads and salads. they are cheap and go far and they look great.
Look for recipes that caterers use. They are in the business to make money. Look in your library for books on the subject, or do a web search for some recipes for cooking for a crowd. Shop a store like Sam's to get the largest sized packaging of the ingredients you can get. Do some research and you'll do fine.
brunch charge 500 bucks a plate you will may money if anyone come
500 x 25 =12500
Take it to a great resaurant and pick the menu! Place a cost for tickets, but include a profit margin for yourself, and sell your tickets! People will appreciate a great gathering of wonderful people, and wonderful food, and the price won't matter.
I can do it since I have cooked professionally for 32 years but for you to do it --- buy all the ingredients you need and triple the cost and that's what you charge for all 25 people and remember you don't get wages LOL
Come up with a simple 3 course menu.
Lite salad, 3 different kinds of dressing.
Chicken or fish main course.
Lite dessert. Cheesecake.
Salad plus extras should be around $100.00
Main Course should be around $200.00 to $250.00
Dessert should be around $75.00 to $100.00
So your total should be less than $500.00.
Now come up with a reasonable rate of charge. Like 14.50 for a plate, then pool resources. Like get an outside investor or profit share. If you can get a cheap caterer for under $400.00 you should be golden. On the other hand, if you do everything your self and put in countless hours of work you should be able to pull this off under $300.00 then sell for like $15.00 a plate and make 75 bucks. It doesn't seem likely that you could pull a major profit form this venture. Good luck. Let me know how it turns out.
u could charge 50 cents per person and serve 5 different things like:
soup
sandwiches
pasta
spaggetie
mac & cheese
or any thing u like or ask a few people wat they like and serve that
