Help needed...Cocktails?!
I'm going to a BBQ on saturday and voluteered to do the Cocktails!.
I need the recipies for about 1-5 of your favourite Cocktails,
Vodka, and a choice of 2 other spirits, any juices any other things like mint leaves etc!.
I will serve the top 5 from this list but will need instruction on how to make them best!.

50ml Vodka
25ml Peach Schnapps
200ml Cranberry juice
100ml Orange Juice
Shake cocktail ingredients with ice and strain into a tumbler filled with fresh ice, Garnish cocktail with orange and lime slices!.
COSMOPOLITAN
1 1/2 parts Vodka
1 part Cointreau

dash of Lime juice

Shake all the ingredients with cracked ice!. Pour into a cocktail glass!.
CHEEKY VIMTO
1 bottle WKD Blue

Pour 1 shot of Port into a pint glass with ice, top up with 1 bottle of Blue WKD!.

25ml vodka

Only have a few favourites, pina colada (but you can buy it premixed in bottles now, so thats easy), orgasim, 1 nip contreau, 1 or 2 nips of baileys irish cream, (if you add cream, its called a screaming orgasim lol) another is a euroglider, (you'll need a blender, but makes a few) 1 nip contreau, (or triple sec, same thing) 1 nip galliano, 1 nip malibu, half a cup of orange juice, quarter cup pineapple juice, 1 banana (or banana schnappes - then you wont need a blender) 1 tube of cream, put everything into a blender or shaker except for the cream, add ice and cream and shake, decorate with a strawberry and or a pineapple wedge (tastes exactly like a creamy fruit salad but in a drink) only trouble is you cant stop at one lol but they will creep up on you, my sister in law likes vodka with lemon juice twist and sparkling water or lemonade, tequila slammers are fun, nip of tequila and just a splash on lemonade in a shot glass, slam it on the table and drink fast, this one hits you like a slap upside the head lol!., another mind blower which is so easy, is fill a shot glass with drambue, vodka, rum, scotch have even had it with creme dementhe but it was yucky, then put the shot glass into a pot glass (round half a pint in your language) and fill it up with beer, that one is a real knock out, one step forward and 3 steps back kinda drink, I know cause I've have a few lol, and a black russian, vodka, tia maria and coke they're nice too, to get the idea that I had a few cocktails before lol! :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

You will need: 1 Bottle Bacardi, A few bottles of Soda water, about 5 limes (quartered), Mint leaves, Sugar (just the average you use in your tea) Lots of ice (crushed),some straws Pref a muddler but if not something to really mix the ingredients with!.
What to do: take 3 quarter limes, 1 tbsp sugar, 10-12 mint leave sprigs and put them in your glass, take the muddler or something that will really crush it all up and crush away!. You will need to really give it a good crush to release the lime juice and mint flavour!. Take your spoon and mix the mixture all around so it is well blended and the sugar is all over the glass not just at the bottom!.
Put in your ice, fill it about 3/4 to the top!. then pour in the bacardi until it is about 1/2 - 3/4 full!. (this may seem alot but the ice is causing the illusion to make it look like a lot of bacardi) give it 1 last mix with the spoon, top with soda water and finish with a sprig of lime at the top and a straw!.

There is a cocktail I discovered in Canada that is simple to make and delicious!. You need Vodka and a can/bottle of Clamato juice!. Clamato is a blend of tomato juice and the juice from clams (+ seasoning)!. Sounds awful but it's great! Mix one part vodka to four parts Clamato juice!. Add Tabasco, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice!. Mix in a cocktail mixer with ice!. Serve with salt around the rim of the glass over ice and with a stick of celery!. It's called a Bloody Caesar!.
You can get Clamato juice in Waitrose if you live in the UK!.

Forget all those heavy drinks with tomato juice as the main ingredient!.!.!.not good for a hot day!.!.!.or with BBQ!.
Your best bet is to make Vodka the main staple for most of your drinks!.!.!.that way the guests can mix their drinks up, by trying more than one, and reduce the risk of getting sick!.
I have 2 sure-fire hits!! ;)
Everyone loves lemonade!.!.!.and there is nothing more refreshing and lip-licking than:
**LEMON DROP LEMONADE!!.!.!.
~~Make a big batch of lemonade from lots of fresh-squeezed LEMONS!.!.!.include lots of the pulp!!.!.!.mixed with SWEET&SOUR Mix, SPRITE, and plenty of real SUGAR!.!.!.no artifical stuff!.
~~Add ABSOLUT CITRON Vodka
~~Serve well-chilled over ice!.!.!.make sure you shake/stir it continuously, so that the sugar does not all sink to the bottom!.
~~For an added touch, strain into a sugar-rimmed martini glass, and garnish with a lemon twist!. (A "twist" is just the curly rind of the lemon, without the fruit!.)
Another humongous crowd pleaser is:
**"SNOW WHITE'S APPLE"!.!.!.

You will need: 1 Bottle Bacardi, A few bottles of Soda water, about 5 limes (quartered), Mint leaves, Sugar (just the average you use in your tea) Lots of ice (crushed),some straws Pref a muddler but if not something to really mix the ingredients with!.
What to do: take 3 quarter limes, 1 tbsp sugar, 10-12 mint leave sprigs and put them in your glass, take the muddler or something that will really crush it all up and crush away!. You will need to really give it a good crush to release the lime juice and mint flavour!. Take your spoon and mix the mixture all around so it is well blended and the sugar is all over the glass not just at the bottom!.
Put in your ice, fill it about 3/4 to the top!. then pour in the bacardi until it is about 1/2 - 3/4 full!. (this may seem alot but the ice is causing the illusion to make it look like a lot of bacardi) give it 1 last mix with the spoon, top with soda water and finish with a sprig of lime at the top and a straw!.

50ml Vodka
25ml Peach Schnapps
200ml Cranberry juice
100ml Orange Juice
Shake cocktail ingredients with ice and strain into a tumbler filled with fresh ice, Garnish cocktail with orange and lime slices!.
COSMOPOLITAN
1 1/2 parts Vodka
1 part Cointreau
1 part Cranberry juice
dash of Lime juice

1 bottle WKD Blue
25ml Shot port
Pour 1 shot of Port into a pint glass with ice, top up with 1 bottle of Blue WKD!.

50ml cranberry juice
Put ice in a glasss!. Then add schnapps and vodka, Finally fill the rest of the glass to the top with cranberry juice!. Stir it with a stirer and your drink is complete!.

Mix as directions tell you to on package, just substitute vodka for 1/2 of the water used!. While in liquid form, pour into small cups & put into fridge to set!.
BLOODY MARY
1 1/2 oz vodka
3 oz tomato juice
1 dash lemon juice
1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
2 - 3 drops Tabasco? sauce
1 lime wedge
Shake all ingredients (except lime wedge) with ice and strain into an old-fashioned glass over ice cubes!. Add salt and pepper to taste!. Add the wedge of lime and serve!.

Forget all those heavy drinks with tomato juice as the main ingredient!.!.!.not good for a hot day!.!.!.or with BBQ!.
Your best bet is to make Vodka the main staple for most of your drinks!.!.!.that way the guests can mix their drinks up, by trying more than one, and reduce the risk of getting sick!.

Only have a few favourites, pina colada (but you can buy it premixed in bottles now, so thats easy), orgasim, 1 nip contreau, 1 or 2 nips of baileys irish cream, (if you add cream, its called a screaming orgasim lol) another is a euroglider, (you'll need a blender, but makes a few) 1 nip contreau, (or triple sec, same thing) 1 nip galliano, 1 nip malibu, half a cup of orange juice, quarter cup pineapple juice, 1 banana (or banana schnappes - then you wont need a blender) 1 tube of cream, put everything into a blender or shaker except for the cream, add ice and cream and shake, decorate with a strawberry and or a pineapple wedge (tastes exactly like a creamy fruit salad but in a drink) only trouble is you cant stop at one lol but they will creep up on you, my sister in law likes vodka with lemon juice twist and sparkling water or lemonade, tequila slammers are fun, nip of tequila and just a splash on lemonade in a shot glass, slam it on the table and drink fast, this one hits you like a slap upside the head lol!., another mind blower which is so easy, is fill a shot glass with drambue, vodka, rum, scotch have even had it with creme dementhe but it was yucky, then put the shot glass into a pot glass (round half a pint in your language) and fill it up with beer, that one is a real knock out, one step forward and 3 steps back kinda drink, I know cause I've have a few lol, and a black russian, vodka, tia maria and coke they're nice too, to get the idea that I had a few cocktails before lol! :)
