Any food suggestions for an adult birthday party?!

Question: Any food suggestions for an adult birthday party!?
I am hosting a party for my mother!. We are trying to make things as simple as possible so we can enjoy time with family traveling from out of state, and not spend time in the kitchen!. I have rented a hall with a complete kitchen!. I am ordering fried chicken from a local restaurant!. What types of other foods would be good but not to time consuming!? There will be around 60 people!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Since you have already decided on fried chicken, I would make the menu a "picnic" theme which can be very easy!.

Baked Beans (you can get large cans from a warehouse store like costco or sams) add fresh chopped onions, chopped bell pepper and chopped pre-cooked bacon!. stir in a disposable roasting pan!. bake 350F until bubbly about 45 minutes!.

Potato Salad - also available pre-made from a warehouse store!. Spoon into your own serving dish and garnish with paprika and sliced boiled eggs or sliced black olives!.

Cole Slaw - warehouse store, garnish with a sprinkle of celery seeds!.

If you want another hot dish, I would use a frozen potato (tater tots, steak fries etc) they can be easily baked or deep fried in batches!.

-buffet size Greek Salad
-chicken carbonara
-browned oven fries (potato wedges)
-Italian bread with bruschetta topping
- you could also put out a large platter with cold cuts of salami, hams, etc!., cheeses, fruits like grapes or melon wedges, and olives!. also dried figs would be great!
-the ever popular crudite veggie platter with onion dip

-if you're going to order more food, finger foods like stuffed grape leaves or finger sandwiches are easy and tastyWww@FoodAQ@Com
