I'm throwing a Glow n the Dark party in a month and i need some ideas!?!
I was thinking of making the whole house dark and having glow in the dark stickers up!. But i'm scared of cell phone lights and stuff cause it'd make it bright and not glow!.
Maybe even passing out glow sticks to the guest!.

Glow sticks and glow stickers work in very different ways!. Glow stickers rely on what is called photo-luminescence, meaning they glow in reaction to having absorbed energy from light!. You are right that UV lights can send an instant large charge to these stickers and make them look very cool!. But the UV will also show dandruff, stains, and other possibly embarrassing effects!.
Glow sticks on the other hand rely on what is called chemiluminescence, meaning that they glow because of a chemical reaction caused by mixing two chemicals!.
If you're having a party normal glow sticks or even glow in the dark cups would make an excellent addition to your party!. If you're going to give everyone something that glows when they come in then I would suggest either a necklace or bracelet, you don't want them to carry sticks all night with them!.

and then when people start showing up!.!.they'll glow for longer periods of time!.

Blacklights will make not only the stickers glow but it would make anything white glow like a light so if you have black lights *very good idea!* have your guests where darker clothing BUT it would be a very good idea to have a glow stick to have around there neck otherwise injury WILL happen! trust me I've had it happen! the black light should also make the glow sticks glow brighter to! so get some they can hold or swing around for a cool looking effectWww@FoodAQ@Com

oh you could just put like 2-3 black lights per room!.!.!.depending how big it is! and you can buy black lights in lightbulb form actually!.just make sure they arent regular bulbs painted black!.!.!.!.there is a difference!.

check out your local bargain shop (thrift shop,whatever u wanna call it) there's heaps of stuff- u can get ice cubes that glow or flash, straws,glasses, bracelets, necklaces that glow, spooky stuff that glows- black lights are awesome they'll light up anything white - easy to install and remove- can get expensive, so be aware of that!.!.!.!.but that way all u need is some white stuff around as well and it'll glow like a christmas tree!.!.!.!. great idea for a party though- i would never have thought of it- sounds awesome!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
