How about the snow dome place - you could go skiing!? Otherwise isn't there a kind of leisure place with shops, restaurants and bars (not the town) a little out of town - I went there a few years ago when I went to a concert at MK Bowl? How about trying to find one of those places that does Medieval banquets... I know there is one in Welwyn Garden City but I think they are all over the place...
Already....the food will be off by Christmas.
