Question: Sweet sixteen, an estimated 85-95 people!. I've got my theme set but don't know what we can do!?
Some family members will be there, so I don't really feel comfortable with the whole dance floor,
unless the place we are going to has some sort of separation!.
Any ideas for Sweet Sixteen Activites!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

you could maybe set it up so it has a similar feeling to a wedding reception!.!.!.!.!.you could have a buffet meal and decorate the tables along with your theme and then as the guest of honor, you go around and visit with all of the guests!.!.!.!.!.you can have your b-day cake on display for everyone to see and then when you are ready to cut it, you can have some friends or siblings serve the cake around to the guests at the tables!.!.!.!.!.displaying picture boards of you at all different ages would be fun for the guests to look at!.!.!.!.or have a dvd made with a bunch of different pictures of you that can be played for people to watch!.!.!.!.!.!.if you have people that would enjoy dancing, you could put on the invite "reception from _ to _ and dance from _ to _"!.!.!.!.that way, the people that wouldn't be comfortable at the dance can come earlier during the reception part and not feel obligated to stay for dancing!.!.!.!.!.!.Hope this helps!.!.!.!.have a great 16th birthday!!!!! :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's crazy but most of the time having dancing even with parents there is a fun thing, you have to have the right DJ though!.

There are a ton of great games you can play or dances you can do that are still a blast without having you and your guy friends grinding all night on you with your parents watching!.

Depending on your theme come up with games and contests to make it based around the theme!. The more repetition you have with the theme the better!. You can also have your parents in another room or send them to the bar so they can have fun and you can have fun too!. Most of the times parents biggest concerns are that you and your guests are safe!.

We recently did an event where I had all the guests minus the parents in the main ballroom and the parents were outside chatting it up as they usually do!. They aren't there generally to jump in like chaperone's at a high school dance they just want to make sure your safe!.

Get a good DJ who specializes in Sweet Sixteens and can keep you and your guests having a good time!. Thats a good size party for this kind of dance!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It would help to know your theme!.
Our party we invited 100 teens
and 50 family!.
The party is from 6-9, when we gave invitations to the family we told them 100 teens would be there at 7pm so it might be wise for them to leave!. They could stay if they wanted, almost all said they were leaving, The friends invitations said 7pm!. We have a DJ and the dancing begins then, with music for all ages before that!. We will be throwing beads all night and giving out neon necklaces, bracelets and mouth pieces!.
Besides the food, we have no other activities planed!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

ALOT of people just bring their friends out for dinner and they all chip in to pay the cost!.!.!.
thats all i can think of !.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
