Do a big cheese tray and a big fruit tray with a simple dip. Then get a ham and a platter of Swiss cheese and spend time making homemade biscuits. Then just add a couple of different kinds of mustard, maybe some mayo and let people make sandwiches. Very inexpensive, yet impressive.

Buy a large bag of frozen meatballs from Sam's, Costco, BJ's.
Place 1/2 bag in crock pot with 1 can of beer and 1 container of BBQ sauce.

Cook for 4 hrs on High.

AWESOME!

Buy a large block of sharp cheddar cheese.
Unwrap a container of crescent rolls.
Wrap cheese in crescent roll.
Bake untll brown and bubbly
Serve with cracker.

Little Smokies in BBQ sauce
Cheese (cut in cubes)
Flour tortillas ~ put mayo, ham, cheese, lettuce, tomato. Roll up. Cut in slices. You have pinwheels.
Pigs in a blanket ~ croissants w/ little smokies inside. Bake
Chips and Dip
Punch, Tea, Pop

If you are looking at appetizers, here are some ideas:

1. Deviled eggs
2. Different kinds of olives
3. Salsa and tortilla chips
4. Hot Artichoke dip with blue corn tortilla chips or crackers
5. Fresh fruit on a platter with a sour cream, vanilla, brown
sugar dipping sauce
6. Fresh celery and carrots with Ranch Dressing
7. Chicken Wings (Tyson's makes some great ones that you simply put in the oven and cook. They come in Hot Wing and Teriyaki styles and are terrific!)
8. Little smokies wrapped in crescent rolls and baked. Serve with sweet hot mustard
9. Cold cut and cheese platter:
salami, sopressata, ham, turkey, American, Swiss,
Provolone cheeses. Serve with hot rolls or artisan breads
10. Tortelinni skewers with marinara sauce

For a buffet style luncheon, how about:

1. Spaghetti with Marinara
2. Meatballs and Italian Sausages
3. Green Salad
4. Garlic Bread
5. Fresh Fruit

Have fun!

My son just turned 3 in December and we went ti Little Ceasars pizza and got thoes $5 pizzas. But the year before we had chilli dogs with chips and we had a veggie tray with veggie dip. If you don't like that you can always try like wings and other finger foods.
Good Luck!
