What are some ideas for throwing a 21st birthday party?
My husband is turning 21 this year. I need help with party ideas.

You guys should go out to a fun club and invite friends.
At home or private party, get a game like "Dirty Minds" @ Spencer in the mall or Geustures. Those are so much fun and adults just go crazy. FUUUUNEEE
Have buffalo wings and make a Punch then spike it with half a bottle of Rum!
Don't forget the Rainbow Sherbert, 2 large cans of Pinapple Juice, 2 litter Ginger Ale
Tequila and Mexican food!
get some other legal friends together and go out drinking :)

i think u should do an really big theme like something he like or maybe if he like food i think u should get a whole lot of chefs and make different dishes i think that would be a great idea have different foods from different places, But i really think that you should do an huge party a lot of his and your friends and of course family

def make it a theme. like mexico. get sambrarros and decorations. plans for mexican food and tons of drinks. sangreia. corona. tequilla. make it a fun experience. he'll remember it forever...or if its a good party he wont..ha!
theme parties are always fun it sets the mood, people like dressing up. make it a theme from an era that he is not old enought toremember. like the 60's, 70's or 80's. tell people to dress up get a matching cake, go out get him a retro gift that fits his persona. he should like that
food with lots of bread. Usually a 21st birthday party is all about alcohol. The breads will help soak up the booze in the party goers system and help people not get so out of control.
How about an 80's party theme as he was born then.

I think the key is to integrate family and fun. Start the part slow with a buffet of food that will last all night with wine and beer about 6. Don't let the liqour break out until about 10. That way he can get the family presents and the hangover of a 21st birthday.
As for a theme I would pick a color theme.
For the food make it easy. Ziti that has all the ingredients of lasagna, chicken wings, meatballs, salads, lots of veggies, bread, crackers and dips. Remember it's a 21st birthday. It's all about the gifts (primarily financial) and booze!
