How to throw this party?!
How can i throw a modern Victorian tea party!? i dont want it to be boring!. i thought we could watch The Phantom of the Opera, drink tea, eat tea foods, and talk!. but what else could we do!? any decorations ideas!? thanks! or should i just go out for dinner and a movie!? i am turning 15!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I love tea parties!. I've hosted several of them!.You need to focus on the table and don't worry about decorating, nice napkins and table cloths, fancy dishes, etc!.
High tea is a full meal!. They serve a variety of sandwiches and savory dishes like quiche, as well as sweets!. A couple of choices of tea (Orange Spice and Earl Gray are my favorites) and hot chocolate (for those non-tea drinkers)!.
Depending on how ambigious you want to get, have your guests wear period costumes!.
If this is too much, then just hats!. They must be interesting, not something that the person would wear everyday!. I did this at one of my parties, and everyone wore some very fun hats!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
