been to the dragons {mother-in-laws} wish we had gone out for dinner

I've just had my lunch (black bean burguers and mash).
I had a terrible headache this morning so haven't been able to go out. But the food sort of helped in my recovery. Will probably spend the rest of the day inside as still not 100% well.
Have a nice day.

I've only been awake for 2 hours and am finishing a pot of coffee.

It's sunny with a cloudless sky here so I'll definitely make it a point to get outdoors.

I think for Sunday dinner I'm going to Make my shrimp & andouille sausage tortellini salad.

Nothing as nice as that. Sounds superb. Did go for a family meal last night though. I looked around and realised I had all my favourite people right with me enjoying each others ( and mine I hope) company. Sorry to be so sickly.

I went to work today. I would have liked to be home but unfortunately the lure of dollars forced me to go. "sigh"

I had stayed the night at a friends so we had hot cross buns for breakfast then I drove 2 hours from Watford back to Cheltenham where I live and walked my little dog in the park with my fiance. Now I'm supposedly looking to find what plants we can put in our garden next week. A sunny, happy weekend- glad you're having one too!

Have a Good Day All

Since living in Spain for years, I have picked up the habit of the locals making lunch as the main meal of the day, especially on Sundays, when families or groups or friends like to set out to off the track or suburban restaurants for the Sunday lunch. This takes people out of the city where during the week they must work within. After lunch a leisurely stroll around the countryside makes good sightseeing & exercising away some of the extra calories of lunch.

I'll be heading to my Mom's place for dinner, she has dinner for the family ever Sunday, I vary rarely miss one, she a damn good cook. And a good Mom.

Got up early to move my car, went grocery shopping at Morrisons, then shoe shopping in Preston with my sister and my kids, planted some seeds and am about to start to prepare our sunday tea ! Guess it'll be the ironing tonight !
